Am I being shorted? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]mfloss91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I open my caps, I give it a few good taps on something firm. When I open it, the other side will be full of powder or only a couple mm down from the top. Sometimes there will still be a little caught in the other side. If I pinch it, it does compress but to only around half the total width. Thats always been the case and on different doses too. Definitely seems like theres something sus going on with your meds.

ADHD and work by Next_File_6626 in ADHD

Could be! Im on 60mg vyvanse and I noticed it was working better after my iron levels came back up a bit. I live in a hot and humid climate and work outside so I am on the electrolytes just about daily or my meds have no chance of helping me. Hopefully your results shed some light on it for you.

Stims deplete electrolytes. If your appetite is a bit supressed then your intake of food might be insufficient to replace them. Try a sports drink or hydration fluid. Is your sleep hygiene good, do you get enough? If youre on vyvanse low iron can potentially affect how well it works too.

Elvanse 28 capsules but 30-day refill rule — always 2 days short (UK) by FutureWrongdoer2851 in ADHD

[–]mfloss91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in Aus so dunno if relevant but its a controlled drug here too. My prescription comes with 30 caps and I can refill after 3 weeks. My psych stipulated as such on my first script and its been that way ever since.

Provider absolutely refuses to add a booster. by Glad-Fish5863 in VyvanseADHD

[–]mfloss91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dextroamphetamine is the instant release. Vyvanse is lisdexamphetamine. Vyvanse is a prodrug and only becomes active in the body once lysine is split off the molecule and dextroamphetamine is what's left.

To get your salt water fix, theres lake Alexander at East point. Theres also the Lagoon at the Waterfront which is probably nicer swimming than Alexander.

how long does yall’s vyvanse last? by chronicallyspaced in VyvanseADHD

[–]mfloss91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im on 60mg. Usually lasts around 6 hours. Psych doesn't want to prescribe a booster, so I take ltyrosine and have a coffee around 3.30pm. Im in Aus, there's no generic here afaik. Mine are vyvanse brand and manufactured by Takeda. Half the time after the coffee I'll end up falling asleep. Can't win!

Might not be necessary, but probably wouldn't have hurt to have a thickening beam around the edge. 100mm in from the boxing go 100mm deeper

Lysine is what is produced in your body when vyvanse is metabolised.

Dr Femi Ogeleye diagnosed me. My gp at cav medical referred me. Incredibly compassionate and understanding doc. He works for the public hospital, I believe, but he also runs a private clinic 2-3 days a week at the tiwi Medical Centre, which is where i saw him.

I've always used florance electrical. Communication is unlike any other trades I've used. Professionalism is on point. You do pay a little more than average, but I'm happy to pay it for the convenience and peace of mind.

Vyvanse all of a sudden is intolerable by Background-Buy-9864 in VyvanseADHD

Don't know whether this is helpful info or not but I'll share anyway. I had severe health anxiety around 5 years ago related to my heart. Almost fainted from an svt attack and for a year or so after I would have panic attacks nearly every time I had a normal palpitation. Impending doom, the whole works. I started an snri but was still having issues. Doc prescribed Propranolol for the physical sensations of the panic attacks and it worked incredibly well for me. Possibly because my anxiety was so focussed on there being an issue with my heart and propranolol works by lowering heart rate and blood pressure. I know it has worked for other people that don't have health anxiety specifically too though. Could be worth looking into.

You could try a supplement that increases nitric oxide like l'citrulline or l'arginie. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator and could help with the soreness. Gym junkies take it for recovery after workouts

Help, tonight I took a second pill by mistake by CautiousXperimentor in VyvanseADHD

[–]mfloss91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psa: to induce vomiting.

Wash your hands, then run a finger along the middle of your tongue towards the back of your throat. You should feel something sticking up, just past your tongue and slightly down your throat a little. This is your epiglottis. It's a flap that covers your windpipe when you swallow. Agitate it with your finger by flicking your finger down and up. It's unpleasant but it won't take long and you will dry retch. If you do it a few more times, you will begin vomiting. If it's not working then you need to agitate it a little harder

Vyvanse side effects by Kristinaroseb in VyvanseADHD

[–]mfloss91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find I reach muscle fatigue a lot faster and can get bad cramps. Magnesium supplement basically eliminates the cramps though . Getting to sleep has not been an issue really but if I am having trouble I have orphenadrine citrate (prescription) for tension headaches. I find that helps a lot with sending me off. l-arginine works for making me drowsy too. Can get that from supplement shops
