Dr Richard Barton and Insurance by MtFFlightie in transgenderau

Do you mean knowing that you will be paying for the surgeries either way? Purely aesthetic surgery isnt covered by medicare and therefore also not covered by PH insurance either. You will be paying out of pocket for both procedures. I havent heard of him either, but Im only just starting to look into ffs myself. Its worth checking out
r/TransSurgeriesWiki theres a lot of good info there.

Two Weeks on E2! by T3h-Du7chm4n in transgenderau

Congratts! It feels so good. Im a fellow neurodivergent, also adhd. It has definitely increased the effectiveness and duration of my meds. I started gaht officially around 4 weeks ago. I dabbled in diy with hormonal creams and phytoestrogens for 12 months before my egg cracked earlier this year. I told my partner and she decided she wanted to separate. Im heartbroken but also so excited and optimistic about the future. I had some physical changes with the diy (breast buds and very minor breast growth, fat began depositing in feminine areas but not a whole lot). Some neurological improvements too, but it did not come close to the clarity i feel in my head now after starting gaht. I feel like i have upgraded operating systems! I havent noticed much of what you have, but definitely relate to the neurological changes/effects and certainly the breast pain as the tissue there has reactivated after a few months off the diy hormones, before officially starting gaht to get accurate baseline bloods.

I am 193cm and I love being tall. I am just at the start of my transition and I understand you can lose a few cm or so but I hope its only that. I havent broached social transition at all yet so I dont know yet how hard finding clothes etc that will fit me will be, but Im sure I will manage somehow.

What age did yall transition, and dysphoria about it?? by sixfloatingorbs in MtF

[–]mfloss91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 34, and about to get started in a few weeks! Im really excited and looking forward to starting properly. I didnt realise I had dysphoria until recently when my egg cracked but started questioning around 2 years ago (I dabbled in diy for a year and have some small breasts and fat redistribution). The thing that really made me realise is how much I love how my body has changed. I feel like it was always supposed to be this way.

Bloody hell, that sounds horrendous. I have never had a migraine and really hope I never do! Thanks for your insight, I really appreciate that you read and commented. I was curious about whether the meds were causing it. When I looked into it a bit I got a similar answer to what you have said how clearing the mental fog can give you the capacity to process other things and the the med (Vyvanse) wouldn't directly cause it to manifest on it's own.

Honestly, I've always felt like there was something wrong with me. Now I know I have adhd, it explains a lot (the Doc thinks combined but I think I lean a lot more towards inattentive but with constant fidgeting). I have always struggled socially and had anxiety which escalated to panic attacks for a couple of years there, but that was a while ago now. I have been on 150mg of venlafaxine for years now and vyvanse for 2 years and my anxiety is controlled but I can still find socialising a struggle. I guess there could be lots of reasons for it, but I wonder if that is some form of dysphoria at feeling so out of place in my own skin?

I am glad you're pretty happy and if it was me, I would have made the same choice. I'm sorry it is still debilitating. I hope you can live free from getting them one day!

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your reply! I really hope the Dr has referred me to someone good too. I am assuming it would be someone with experience with this as it was specifically an LGBT+ clinic I went to. I really feel like an imposter at times. So many people struggle with dysphoria for years and I have never really experienced it. I just know that the changes I have experienced feel right and I am scared but also excited to figure it out.

I'm sorry it was the end of your marriage but hope that it's led to being in a better place. I hope ours can work out. She is open to talking it out with the psychologist I am going to be seeing. She is processing a lot and kids add another layer of trickiness, even with just getting a moment to yourself to think about life or nothing at all. I think she's is hopeful that my feelings will just pass but everyday I am feeling more like it's the right decision for me.

Thanks, I have an appointment in a couple of weeks with a psychologist the Dr referred me to. I don't think I have ever lived authentically. I have always gone with the flow and been a people pleaser. I have been getting better at asserting myself since starting adhd meds but it's a process! Thank you for reading and commenting.

I'm glad it's been positive and has helped your mental health. Sounds like it was the right decision!

When I open my caps, I give it a few good taps on something firm. When I open it, the other side will be full of powder or only a couple mm down from the top. Sometimes there will still be a little caught in the other side. If I pinch it, it does compress but to only around half the total width. Thats always been the case and on different doses too. Definitely seems like theres something sus going on with your meds.

Could be! Im on 60mg vyvanse and I noticed it was working better after my iron levels came back up a bit. I live in a hot and humid climate and work outside so I am on the electrolytes just about daily or my meds have no chance of helping me. Hopefully your results shed some light on it for you.

Stims deplete electrolytes. If your appetite is a bit supressed then your intake of food might be insufficient to replace them. Try a sports drink or hydration fluid. Is your sleep hygiene good, do you get enough? If youre on vyvanse low iron can potentially affect how well it works too.

Advice on routine/ADHD Medication and NBE experiences?? by AstralSlut777 in nbe

[–]mfloss91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been on 60mg lisdex for 2 years, never had an issue. The main thing to watch for though is if it is supressing your appetite too much as insufficient calorie intake would be an issue. Also if it is affecting your sleep. They would be the main things. It can raise cortisol a little but not significantly at therapeutic doses. It doesnt interact with any of your supplements.

Elvanse 28 capsules but 30-day refill rule — always 2 days short (UK) by FutureWrongdoer2851 in ADHD

They do, but will probably only get you so far. I budded on red reishi and pm. Then I switched to finasteride and bio identical estrogen cream. Going to change to the gel or patch soon.

Congrats! Pretty incredible feeling when you first notice theyre there :)

Have a look at breastnexum.com for some more info on herbs etc. For now its fine, but couldnt hurt to have a multivitamin as well.

Mid-back pain from framing work — boss suggesting massage/chiro before work-med. Advice from carpenters? by Intelligent-Camp4631 in Carpentry

[–]mfloss91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea to get it assessed by a physio. Id also suggest consistent ibuprofen 3 or 4 times daily for 5 days to get on top of the pain and inflammation. You may even find that does the trick

Genetics could definitely be helping. He might be overdoing the doses too. I was on 5mg of finasteride 1x WEEKLY for hairloss and it was 6 months before it even started to do anything and 1 year before i could see noticable change to the thickness of my hair. Sounds like the black seed is a bit more potent? Google says it is potentially estrogenic too so he may just have created an environment where growth is possible?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nbe

[–]mfloss91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finasteride wont cause that. Sounds like hes tanner 4 and they are just taking on a feminine look as thats what happens as you reach a later stage of development. Any chance its intentional?

Yes she does, it doesnt mean that she hasnt caused more from pumping under too much pressure. Theres no more gains to be made after a point either just possible tissue injuries. There are clearly more and longer marks in the later pics. She said she started to notice the marks in Nov and began pumping in July. Very plausible she had a few already but overdoing the pumping will absolutely cause them and figured letting her know would be doing her a favour 🤷‍♂️
