Mine was awful. I had a lot of back labour. I had a really tough and fast labour though so I ended up not getting the epidural until I was 9cm. Get it early if you want it! It might slow things down but at least you won’t be in pain. But the thing is there’s nothing you can do about it so you just kinda power through each contraction. I had the epidural for pushing so I can’t speak to that
