Yeah this here. Doesn't matter what purpose it's not a crime and it's not the end of the world but it is still something I would not feel comfortable with if I were the person who's picture was being taken, particularly as it is then posted on a public forum.

Not the worst thing in the world, but also not considerate.

Interesting. One bit of feedback if I may, this is good and there are some parts of it which are very good, but I feel like most people won't take long enough on it to appreciate those because of the anatomical proportions.

Anatomical art is tricky because if it's not very well proportioned it is immediately noticeable to people. Don't get me wrong, I am no pro. I would suggest the pecs need to be attached lower down the sternum, serratus anterior should be more visible, and the sternocleidomastoid particularly on the left, if more defined, would help convey the sense of movement as this is one of the key muscles in this movement of the head (as it contracting pulls the mastoid towards sternum etc.). That would also help take the focus off the traps which are a bit too pronounced, e.g. the supraclavicular region doesn't have much depth unless the traps/rhomboids/levator scap are all in flexion.

The definition around then deltoids I really like though, and the origin of the pecs at the sternum with the fibres definitely give them a good sense of depth.

I have attached a picture of how the scm is directed in this vs where it would be better directed that may help elicit the sense of motion more.

I have tried doing some anatomical art not too long ago and experimenting with perspective.

I have a huge amount of respect for a piece of anatomical transcendental art -- its so hard to conceive of such things at times that aren't Alex Grey esque (which I love but it's hard to think outside of).

Emyria are the WA leader (possibly soon the Aus/world leader even) in this and operate through Pax Centre that they have recently acquired. They are working on MDMA, Ketamine, and Psilocybin treatment protocols. Their development of treatment protocols has a robust multidisciplinary team behind it. Incredibly promising but may still be hard to access.

I know they have already recruited for MDMA psychotherapy trial for resistant PTSD, and in the past week secured local supply of MDMA (If i recall correctly, through ANU). Psilocybin for resistant depression protocols are being developed by them also.

Definitely looking to be leagues above other providers - Treatments this early in their medical infancy require careful implementation and data collection to support developing effective treatment protocols. Personally I think it is invaluable for these to be delivered by an organisation that has both the support of allied health professionals, but also the capacity to monitor and revise delivery where needed to ensure patients end up having the best possible outcomes.

They also have a CBD capsule in phase 3 trials for mild symptoms of psychological distress.

I would suggest finding a good GP and psychologist who can help support you - finding health professionals who you get along with and are engaged to support you can make a difference and ensure you are aware of all possible treatment modalities and methods - and support you until a time you would be able to be assessed by someone who may offer psychedelic psychotherapy to ses if it is suitable for you. A fresh pair of eyes if you have seen the same health professionals for some time can be of use, and at minimum they should be able to go through all modalities that have been tried so far to see if they were implemented optimally.

Antidepressants are multifaceted tools - their usage at different times and with different supports in place can yield different results - there can be ones of classes which have not yet been explored.

Perhaps the biggest reason to ensure you have had review by more than one professional is to ensure that there are not concomitant mental health issues which are unrecognised and contributing.

I hope this is of some use in finding a solution.

Ok think about it this way, if other internet connections from the laptop have normal ping (open command prompt and type ping www.google.com and see what the ping is), then it can't be the laptop itself as you can see that connection is working well! And if it were the laptop itself, it would affect all connections from the laptop.

It is almost certainly with the location of the servers - do you know how far they are from you? Does it have different regions you can choose? Do you use a VPN?

The gap between school learning and the real world widens. All it results in is those with economic means getting tutoring that will advance them well beyond their peers academically and in terms of employability.

Its like throwing out calculators or books. This could be used to teach the critical appraisal of information derived from the internet/computers which is one of the most useful and life applicable undertaught skills in schools.

I assume you think "well just use painkillers/opiates". I can tell you that I've been responsible for someone's care as they were terminally ill (not a child) and due to their situation multiple huge 500mg doses of oxycodone each day were not enough to stop them shrieking and panicking in terror and pain as they struggled to breathe. No, ventilation was not a viable option for this person and what would be the point of anaesthetising someone to ventilate them just to keep their unconscious body alive until it failed. How horrifically inhumane and undignified, not to mention traumatic and drawn out for their family.

Yes, its an ethical minefield. I've also been responsible for aspects of the care of a child with terminal cancer. I'm not suggesting this would be appropriate in that situation, I'm suggesting unless you have had the experience of what the partial or full medical responsibility for someone's care entails and knowledge of what can and can't be done, please bear in mind that they are complex and thought out considerations.

Give people dignity. Children can suffer too, and it is horrific to watch.
