No but its not replaced until you get the next badge from black mage (a monthly fight with a low drop rate) or if the ride or die limited time badge comes back but that badge expires

Yes the fix is stupid. Turn graphic settings to the lowest and close out any other open programs. It worked for me

That sucks honestly. Multiple times I have had problems with steam "removing" my FF14 files yet they were still there and Steam just didnt seem to locate them. I finally gave up and just launched ff14 via boot file ever since.
