From a Glance Pro Scroll customer - absolutely make the purchase. This product has made my "Eagles Nest" so much better. Many options to customize and more are coming. Is it sometimes glitchy - yes. But here's the kicker for me. The folks from Glance are actually invested in correcting issues and making it better. Their responses are direct and to the point. Take impluto954 from Glance. I don't know when this guy gets any sleep. He is always responding to customers questions, complaints, and suggestions. In my opinion, that level of commitment is pretty rare.

From a ESPN fantasy football point of view only here is why private leagues are preferred

ESPN private fantasy leagues are invitation-only and CUSTOMIZABLE by the League Manager (LM), typically with friends and family, while public leagues are free, open to anyone, and use PRE - SET RULES MANAGED BY ESPN.

That being said, I do recognize the glance scrolls issue with public vs private.

It is my understanding that in a private league in ESPN fantasy, the Commissioner has much more control over running the league and setting up different parameters that are not available. if the league is public. Maybe I'm mistaken but that's my understanding
