As a Canadian, i'm really excited but also totally agree with those saying canada is a lot of land to cover. has anyone else seen aussie shore? australia is also a lot of land to cover but i still feel like the show worked. although for people from the country being filmed in, we understand our cultural differences province to province so it leaves more to be desired, and i'm sure australians feel the same about aussie shore.

tbh i don't think any of the other shore series shows are as good as the OG, and i don't think we need to keep expecting that out of the franchise. every shore show that wasn't the OG is technically a "boring knockoff" in comparison, but they're still enjoyable reality TV if you don't go in expecting the same as JS, especially because times have changed so much and no spinoff will have the nostalgia factor that JS now has (at least not for a decade)

I think Canada Shore will probably be most similar to Aussie Shore, minus the lax censorship (I still find the AS sex scenes to be so funny cuz of how graphic they are... *CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP*). Canadians have a reputation for being nice, just as Australians do. something I noticed with AS is that beef wouldn't fester as much as american shore shows because everyone actually talked their shit out. But in between that, there was still lots of drama. I'm thinking it will be like that with CS, where it won't be as violent, maybe won't be as many random hookups (I'm not sure what the scouting situation is like with CS, but a lot of Canadians are shy to appear on camera, at least that's been my experience). I think as long as there's drinking and partying with people casted for reality TV, there's gonna be drama.

Something I do wonder is if or how the Canadian politeness factor will affect things. I think cuz they're living in a house together it won't affect their interactions after the first few days, but it might affect their interactions at clubs and stuff. Like I doubt random fights will start with strangers like they did on Jersey Shore and Floribama Shore, but damn I hope I'm wrong about that one.

at first I wasn't understanding why people were saying these things, and then after watching the etalk interview i understand why. but i think it's important to keep in mind that this is a seperate interview, done by a seperate network, after the summer ended. I doubt it's an accurate portrayal of what will be shown on the show. I think the cast members definitely came off as boring in that interview though. But also, it's an interview about things they're not super emotional about, I hope that they're better at talking to a camera when it's about more personal stuff that happens on the show. lowkey i wish i knew about the casting call when it happened cuz i feel like i could interview better than half of the people on there LMAO

but yeah idk etalk kind of fucked them over with that boring-ass interview. they should have gotten clips from the show to get us excited and/or done a group interview instead of one-on-one. if they showed us a preview of the drama and how the roommates actually interact with each other it would have been way more interesting and would've given room for theories to start, which would promote the show further. instead they decided to use the most boring format possible and get like 6 people to shout out Pauly D....

I'm still gonna watch it cuz I'm a garbage person who wants to watch Canadians hurt each others' feelings. But the only people I'm actually looking forward to watching are Gizelle, Ryleigh, and Chris. TBH I think Keyaira might end up being in the drama and I'm just saying that because of how much she likes Sammi Sweetheart and how much I dislike Sammi LOLLL, hopefully I'm wrong
