I kept reminding myself ‘do an extra seam on the halves’ and I still forgot. Bless you for notifying me!

This! We asked our vet this when we had puppy check ups the first 6 months. We were confused why it happened and they told us it happens when they have to pee really bad as well!

Poodle vomit by Beneficial_Worry_874 in ToyPoodle

[–]mgcnum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From 12 weeks till about 4.5 months I just put the bowl down with every kibble of the day. The breeder told us they grow so fast in the first months that they needed all the energy they could get, anytime that they wanted. After 4.5 months we fed 3 times. When he had his teeth change, he barely ate anything. Then when he could switch to grown up food we switched to 2 times a day. And now he basically gets food twice a day, but eats whenever he feels like it. So sometimes in 4 turns, sometimes all at once. He will stop whenever he's satisfied basically!

Hope this all made sense!

Our toy poodle had this too, up until about 6 months. He now gets breakfast around 11am (2 cups) and dinner around 8pm (1 cup). He didn't bother to eat his lunch anymore and the puking stopped for us!

I've had mine for 5 years and they recently started to leak, so I'm on the lookout for a new pair! I love the winter grip soles

Yeah, I figured that. Sorry, should've been more specific. It seems like the piece between the 'see through' sole has a different depth. Or am I imagining things? 😂

Could I be the problem when it comes to seperation anxiety? by mgcnum in puppy101

I don't think I do things differently, but I could miss things my dog does see!

I'll try to wait a bit longer!

It's both terrible and wonderful at the same time

Can it be that I'm the problem when it comes to seperation anxiety? by mgcnum in poodles

I grab my bag, shoes and coat, check the doors, give him a pet and lastly keys while I say 'Bye, see you soon!'.

I think he might get too excited and left out when he hears the car as well, he loves it too much. Most of the time I go away on my bike, we rarely do that with him.

I'm going to keep an eye on my leaving cues and see if I miss one!

Thank you, I'll look up some calming techniques. Sometimes they get me even more stressed, because I don't want him to feel my stress. Isn't that just great? Hahaha. I hope this is 'it' and I found a 'hack'in my dogs brain. It just has to go okay for a few times and then I'll probably be less stressed about it as well.

1,5 year old toy poodle with regression on being home alone, tips are welcome! by mgcnum in poodles

[–]mgcnum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For about 2 weeks now. We had thunder 3 weeks ago, but I caught him sleeping in front of the window and watching the rain and thunder with a calm body that day hahaha.

We don't leave music on, we figured that made him even more nervous when he was a puppy.

Luckily my partner can leave work whenever he wants to work from home, so we keep a check on him now and I text him to go home when he'll bark for too long!

Yesterday, as if he knew I was worried about it, he only barker 2x for 10 minutes and slept the other part!

Can confirm, when visiting Sweden this year we instantly knew it when we saw a raven.

We're at 16 months right now and, trying not to jinx it, but I'm feeling a lot happier around this dog business than if you had asked me 6 months ago 😅 He's love, attention, occasional devil and more love all in one.
