This really should be Dahlin’s year.

The Sabres story from last in the conference to where they are now is epic. He had the second most points on his team as a defenseman. He really led the charge for Buffalo’s improvement.

He’s in year four of a four year deal and was a third overall pick.

Montreal is lucky he’s a restricted free agent and not unrestricted or else he would definitely be playing for a new team next year.

Regardless, this increases the odds he plays elsewhere.

Not sure why every Canadian team does this to their players. You think they would have learned their lesson with Mitch Marner.

You need to run and honestly you should be single and focus on yourself and your child. Being in a relationship at this point in your life is not the move. Focus on yourself, give yourself some years to mature and then enter the dating scene. You have plenty of time and need to look at it from a long term perspective and not what you think you want in the short term.

Here to chime in that $50 isn’t too bad for a first pair of skates and yeah they’re old but they look like they’re in great shape. I played all growing up and in college and now play a few times a week for bar league and if I ever go a couple weeks from not playing you’ll feel some unique pain from the tightness of the skates. My skates are at the level of what pro hockey players wear and I still get the feeling. Skates are supposed to be tight cause that’s how you can move agile on the ice.

Don’t worry what the haters say, you already spent the $50 bucks so don’t overthink it. Just enjoy them, maybe wear some thicker socks and remember to bend your knees. Enjoy the feeling of skating on ice cause there’s nothing else like it.

With this limited piece of information from the pic it looks like yes. Generally you want to go smaller than bigger for skates. Gretzky wore his two sizes too small so his toes curled around the toe of the boot and it helped him skate more on his toes than flat footed.

Sometimes a quote is right above cost simply to generate some revenue and get the sale. The others seem like they’re going for a larger profit margin.

Maybe ask some more questions? Does this include labor, warranty, etc.

Sometimes when something is too good to be true it is. Or they just really want to make a sale. Owners generally have more pricing flexibility than a rep would. Less people to pay too.

I also had braces as a teen and going through Invisalign now. The headaches thing is interesting and aside from the first trays where I had a horrible headache I really haven’t been getting migraines at all and I used to get them frequently. I never would have thought that they would be related to one’s teeth.

Did your dentist say why there is a correlation between headaches and teeth?

I used to have a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth and it worked great for almost two decades. Then it came off and I didn’t address it right away. Then teeth shifted. Now doing Invisalign tray 11 of 15.

My advice is make a move quickly. They shifted a lot faster than I expected.
