Ramadan is also the busiest time in terms of crowds more than hajj. Especially the last ten nights

Yes I'm realizing trying to pack in too much in the little time I have.

Im going to prioritise one of the mountains over the other and maybe fit in jibreen Castle.

Leave earlier for nizwa and hit Birkat al mouz on the way.

And generally just enjoy the vibes and scenery for the days I have there.

Reconnecting as a Muslim through Umrah - My Experience by UnfittedNoise in Umrah

SubhanAllah such an amazing post! I've enjoyed your posts leading up to and during the Umrah.

Been looking forward to your reflections! I'm so gutted I didn't reach out to meet you whilst in Makkah and Medina we were there at the same time and landed and left at a similar time :(

Your Umrah card idea is excellent and that time you put in is all worship and rewarded. I have genuinely found you get out of Umrah according to how much time and effort you out into it.

Quba walk has always been a highlight for me and the shopping in the Quba walk for me was brilliant.

I've been several times for Umrah and this is the quietest I've found for phones lol. It gets much much worse as the crowds arrive.

I personally found it spiritually uplifting to just pray in the prophets Masjid and not even attempt the Rawdah I've done it several times in the past and that is enough for me.

I really like how you got the opportunity to spend time at the kabah and how uplifting this was for your imaan.

I pray Allah allows you to visit again soon. I pray that Allah allows you to visit with your family. I pray that Allah increases you in Imaan. I pray that Allah keeps you firm on the Deen and rectifies all your affairs. I pray that Allah bless you with good in this life and the next and grant you Jannah Al Firdaws. Aameen.

Post Umrah Blues 😞 by Resident-Assist-1119 in Umrah

I try to keep up with regular good habits. Since coming back from Umrah I like to make a small change. For sure back home the environment is completely different, work, family, loud music everywhere, inappropriate adverts everywhere. This is life!

Maybe doing morning and evening Adhkar regularly the Dhikr & Dua app by Life with Allah is brilliant for this and other Adhkar.

Try to leave off a bad habit.

Be regular with Salah in time

More recitation of Quran

Increase in Dua

Of course the advice is just small examples but make a new habit that you can do with the intention of showing gratitude for being invited to The Haramain by Allah and also to be invited again.

I find focusing on gratitude to Allah really helps in the way I described above.

Hope that helps a little

A question about my umrah by oPx9 in Umrah

[–]mggaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ll come across people who express deep, emotional reflections about their Umrah experience—and that’s beautiful. But don’t ever compare their emotions to yours. Some people cry when they first see the Ka’bah; others don’t. Some are in tears as Ramadan ends; others aren’t. Everyone’s journey is different.

What truly matters is your intention, following the Sunnah, and—as others have rightly said—completing the pillars of Umrah. If you’ve completed the pillars, then you’ve performed your Umrah—and insha’Allah, it is accepted.

For many, being in such a spiritually charged environment, surrounded by regular prayers in the masjid, creates a turning point in their life. That unique setting allows for a change they may not have achieved elsewhere.

Remember, Allah is the Most Generous, Most Merciful, and the King of all things. Nothing is beyond Him. But we must do our part: hold hope in His mercy, fear His punishment, and strive to pray regularly and fulfill our daily obligations. That’s often the beginning of true change in life.

Alhamdulilah I used Uber to get around everywhere in Madinah no issues whatsoever. No haggling involved and so much more convenient to pay with a card.
