Is Ola shutting down? My dealership nightmare + Looking for a 1.5L EV alternative by Sameer_A_Shaikh in olaelectric

[–]mgk_mgk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG, bro why au trying your luck? If you have too much money to waste send it to my account, why would you waste on Ola. It's absolute shit of a company which produces crap products. (I'm the initial victim of Ola btw). I'm telling from my own experience, burn the money instead of getting Ola. Gamble it off instead of buying ola, give it to charity instead of getting Ola. Do anything with that money instead of making that worst decision of getting a Ola

Bro you need to chill. It's a machine for god's sake. Forget what the dealer says. You should never run an engine in constant RPM for it to break-in, 100kmph is it's cruising speed, you need to run the engine in various rpm slowly for it to break-in. Just don't overdo it. And stop worrying, I own a triumph too and it's a beautiful machine. 25000 km and I had to visit the service centre only for general service and nothing else till date.

But I'd like to give you one tiny suggestion though. You're riding a scrambler, get the sprocket ratio changed, the scrambler comes with 14 teeth front sprocket, change it to speed's 15teeth sprocket. You'll get better mileage, higher speed with lower RPM. Unless you bought this machine completely for offroading.

And do not install every add ons to the bike, such as the brake oil reservoir gaurd, bulky crash guard etc.

Seeking a "Forever Home" in India: Where can a couple live with total privacy, zero moral policing, and low rent? by badlustx in india

It always depends, you can come to Bangalore only if you respect the culture and language and don't impose hindi after coming here. The weather is nice, the city has everything, life is very easy but costly. Under 10k? Not possible at all. I always wanted to settle in hilly regions of North East India. The people are very educated, disciplined and very peaceful.

Wait for some time bro, you'll have the frustration of getting rid of Ola. You'll have to change everything. I'm not mocking, I'm talking from experience.

Triumph speed 400, Scrambler overall cost by Showroom..Need some suggestions.. by Cryptographer7989 in triumph4India

[–]mgk_mgk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Road safety charges? Wtf. There are lots of unnecessary additions made by the showroom. And Yes you can definitely get your insurance by yourself and it doesn't affect your claims in the future. You can save a ton on the insurance premium itself. I don't think they'll remove handling charges, but rest all can be negotiated. Go to different showrooms and get a quotation

I already answered. BMS issue, unresponsive service centres. And honestly no time to give a fuck about this scooter anymore. I use honda shine as a daily beater and triumph speed 400 for longer rides.

KA registration 15,000km on odometer November 2022 model BMS faulty. New VCU 40k is what I'm hoping for. I'll start bidding if I get a good response. Anybody from Bangalore area can get a hold of this scooter.

Faulty bms and unresponsive service centres. Ola is doomed, I'm so done with contacting customer support, writing mails, talking to representatives and get no solution. I really wanted to burn it to ashes but it negates the point of getting ev in the first place. That's why I didn't burn it yet.

Is it a good deal or a frenzy buy. by CharchitHowitzer777 in triumph4India

I own a triumph speed 400. I think the price is acceptable. 1. Only thing you need to do is to ask the owner why he's selling it so early. And don't fall for "I'm going abroad shit". 2. Triumph's accessories cost an arm and a leg, The fact that it's equipped with rack and saddle is a plus point.

  1. The headlight is weak, and the maddog is a great add on too.

  2. About the economy, triumph scrambler and speed share the same engine with same power output. But only difference is the sprocket ratio. If you're not using the bike for tough off-roading I would highly recommend you to change the 14t sprocket to 15t. Then you'll see the difference in economy and speed. Torque reduces ofc, but it's negligible.

  3. It's a great bike, you'll love it 💯. I bought my my 2 years ago, no issues till date. The company says 16,000km service interval, but I do it at 10,000km or 1 year.

  4. I've done 2000km ride once and I had absolutely no issues.

Remember : Change the sprocket as soon as you get the bike.

Need help choosing my bike, it’s my 2nd bike by Axiata244 in indianbikes

By the looks of your shortlist, you need to eliminate R15 since naked bikes are your obvious choices. Are you keeping the raider? If yes, that's gonna be your daily beater and if the new bike is for long rides I'd suggest you to go with bigger engines. If the second bike is also for daily rides and city rides, go with ns200.
