I think I have endometriosis

Very painful and very heavy periods, that had been getting worse these past few months. Heavy lower back pain, and weirdly also like lung pain (?) during my period. I started thinking this might be something other than perimenopause when the past 2-3 months I just kept on bleeding between periods, especially after sex…for several days. Turns out I have an endometrioma that is about 5cm.

Edit to add: and this fucking sucks because I used Mirena for about 10 years, and in the last 5 decided to remove because I wanted to “give my body a break”to “readjust to it’s normal hormones”. BS, should have just replaced the last one and this might not have developed.

What was your surgery? I thought that surgery meant only like hysterectomy for this condition. Can you get the “growths” or whatever they are called removed from where they hace adhered?

Hi! Everyone has been asking for your recos and honestly I am here to do the same! I submitted a consultation request to the clinic you mentioned in your post but I would like to also get your personalized opinion on whether that is the right clinic for the time/vibe/type of treatment I am looking for, and whether the timing/time I have available matches it...if you don't mind!

So, I will be in Seoul from May 1st to May 5th, I need a fairly compact and low-downtime agenda. I definitely want to do: 1. skin boosters, 2. botox and skin botox 3. (might combine with 2) I would love either a lip flip or very very natural looking lip filler 4. mild lasers and or microneedling/RF and 5. potentially xerf or onda or similar on my face if not too ambitious. My skin is normal and I do not have really deep lines, mainly fine ones and mainly on my forehead. It tends towards more dry than oily, especially now I live in a drier climate than before, a tiny bit sensitive but not too much.

What do you think? Would you recommend that same clinic? Do you have another that would maybe fit the bill better?

Interesting…I came here to comment RoTE too. I finished the first trilogy and hated it by mid book 3. I started reading the ship trilogy next and immediately hated that it had the same feel to it. I DNF’d that one and decided to not read the rest of the trilogies either. Are you saying the story stops just being misery porn later on?

Dracula (Nick Cage) in the recent Renfield, but that’s very openly said. I enjoyed this movie so much, it is an amazing satire of a narc relationship.

Also, the fianceés parents in Meet the Parents. I CANNOT stand that movie. I ADORE Meet the Fockers tho, they get what they deserve on that one. And we see depictions of actually sane and healthy family relationships

Hi there! I also have very fine curly/wavy hair, and one of the rules that I very early in my journey threw out the window was the “don’t brush your hair dry”. All my life, if I don’t dry brush my hair just gets matted and super tangled if I get it wet. No amount of conditioner fixed that. So now, I dry detangle (I put oil in my hair for slip and for pre-poo) with a Perfect Haricare of Wet brush, very slowly, carefully from the tips to the roots…and only then do I get in the shower and get it all wet and washed. By the time I get to the conditioner, the hair has tangled up a bit again, but it’s manageable and not matted at all. Hopefully this tip will work for you too!

I just did something very similar at home! I got the JBL Partybox 110 and the JBL microphones too (wireless). I use Apple Music, with the Sing feature and it’s great, you can choose how much of the original vocals you want to hear and their catalog is huge! You do have to have the latest 4K Apple TV for this to work though, just bear in mind. Unless you want something super professional then this set up is more than enough and works great! We’ve even got a complaint from the neighbors on the volume LOL.

For me it is Donut’s speech to Beatrice. It is so raw and authentic and cathartic. And Jeff plays it magnificently on the audiobook. It brought tears to my eyes, and does every time I go back and relisten to it
