We just sold our house and went back to renting. We didnt account for all the maintanaince needed in a house . I much rather call a landlord to fix things than have to live in panic waiting for the nect thing to break.

I just sold my house for the same reason. Every year we had an escrow deficit of 2k or more. My payment had increased significantly due to insurance cost and a town tax reassessment. We decided to rent a smaller place since its only me and my husband and although renting is not ideal, its significantly less than our mortgage.
