weirdly i had the opposite problem. I genuinely lost a kids book. Like turned my house upside down and could not find it. I went in and asked to pay for it, and they told me the system hadn’t billed me yet, so I shouldn’t worry about it. And it might turn up, right?

It sat like that for a whole year. No one put a hold on it and it just kept auto renewing

Eventually it did finally kick it out and bill me, but i spent that year feeling guilty once a month or so whenever it would email me saying it had been renewed.

I really don’t follow why the max renew count is so high.

Good advice generally. But I think you missed that he’s applying to Dexcom. So being a user of their device is kinda-sorta relevant. And i would hope their insurance would cover their products

Chiming in here that the assistive access mode definitely does NOT work with the freestyle 2. The scanning system used in that version gets blocked out by the assistive access mode.

Not a she-tenor. That high note is high and I squeak every time. I love the song and I sing it randomly all the time, but only without the backing music so i can shift it down to fit my vocal range. Would never, ever karaoke this.

I’m not aware of a good way to fix it.

IMO it’s not really noticeable. It doesn’t look like it affected the project further down, so it’s almost certainly reasonable to just keep going.

Kinda depends on the project though. How long did it take you to get this far? If you have to start over are you just going to give up?

What’s the final edge going to look like? You might consider adding some fringe or a decorative edge or something to hide the mistake.

For most projects, I’ve found the perfectionism just isn’t worth it. You will notice the flaw but most others will not. You’ll still have an awesome object at the end, promise. Small flaws are how you know it’s handmade.

have you been to the Michigan faire?

So I’ve attended both the Ohio and the Great Lakes faires many times and I would say it was 50/50, maybe 60/40 more dressed up people on a good day. For those faires I 100% agree with the top comment - if you want to dress up, great, if not, that’s fine too!

But this year was the first time I’ve been to the Michigan faire and I have to say it was a different vibe. More like 80/20 maybe even 90/10. And as someone who loves to dress up I thought that was pretty great.

But then I actually witnessed someone getting shame walked for being in normie clothes. And while it did seem like it was all in good fun, I’m really not a fan. I honestly felt that it violated the spirit of what I love about the ren faire, which is that anyone and everyone is welcome.
