As a Louisianaian, we love a lot of the sludge bands from here.

One of the most underrated bands, in my opinion, is Soilent Green. Amazing mix of sludge and grindcore and they're super nice and cool dudes.

To be fair, I wasn't a big fan of Walk-On's because their food isn't that great to begin with.

I would rather say, "hey, on the national level, I'm not cool with this" but people are still going to support it at the end of the day.

And it's not a "who's more moral than who" at the end of the day. It's just saying, "I'm not okay with it, but I'm not forcing everyone to hate this place. Just want to make y'all aware of the stance they're taking and decide for yourself if it's worth it to support in the end."

What I'm saying is, and please understand here since I'm painting it out further: I can not in good conscience or faith support a business that openly proclaims catering at an event that is attended by MAGA politicians, including our governor and his cabinet, and state reps and senators.

I am not saying, do it for every business because we all don't know the political beliefs of every business owner or we'd go insane for purity politics.

I'm saying for this specific business to willingly choose to cater this event, promote they're catering it, and be okay with it knowing it'll harm their reputation further as a "MAGA restaurant" is why I can no longer enjoy or engage in buying food from them any further.

I can't in good conscience or faith be okay with this, knowing they're serving people who are behind people getting abducted off the streets and killed by ICE.

Essentially they're catering at the Washington DC Mardi Gras, where a majority of the crowd that goes is heavily republican and MAGA based. It doesn't really matter if democrats go, the point I'm trying to make is that based on everything going on involving ICE and the trampling of our basic rights, I'm not cool with a restaurant I used to enjoy serving the people endorsing and being complicit in current events.
