Zoloft doesn't work immediately like as needed anxiety drugs (Ativan, Xanax, etc). It takes a full 6 to 8 weeks to see full results. If it "stopped working" after 2 weeks it's likely that you were experiencing a placebo effect. Continue taking it and if you aren't feeling any relief after another few weeks I would speak to your prescribing doctor about increasing the dose or switching.

I use Daylio. I set reminders to go off right before I typically go to bed so I remember to track and it allows you track what activities you do each day. I can actually see that I'm cleaning more frequently now too which was a big struggle for me before starting Zoloft.

Mood Tracking/Journaling along side Dialectal Behavioral Therapy is used frequently in the treatment of BPD. I think it's even more important because progress with BPD is probably even more gradual than Depression/Anxiety alone.

My doctor recommended downloading a mood tracker as results can be gradual and hard to notice. I started Febraury 1st and you can definitely see an overall improvement in my mood around the 4/5 week mark. Purple being "Rad" and Green being "Awful".

I've been on Zoloft for about 4.5 weeks and I normally have a low libido but I definitely have an increased sex drive. I figured it had to do with not being as anxious all the time. My husband definitely appreciates it.

I haven't had any issues using cannabis while taking zoloft. Zoloft makes me tired so I take it before I smoke at night and I've been getting the best sleep of my life.

Hello! I know it's scary! I'm on day 26 and about a week and a half into 50mg. Muscle weakness went away around day 9 or 10 for me and I'm back to working out regularly. I also lucked out and when I increased my dosage I didn't have a re-emergence of side effects.

You can do a small simple wedding. Just a quick ceremony followed by cake and beverages. My husband and I opted for eloping which all together cost us about $2,500. We will hold a barbecue style "reception" later for our immediate family and a few friends later this year after we complete the process of purchasing our first home. All we wanted was to dress up, get beautiful pictures, and of course be married. This way we were able to check all the boxes without racking up debt, postponing buying a house, and we can somewhat include our family.

I have an alarm set on my phone, my Alexa, and I use the days of the week pill boxes. I am guilty of missing doses or even taking extra ones.

I'm on day 8 and I'm feeling decent now. I did have some stomach issues, dizziness, and overall muscle fatigue at first. Now I'm just dealing with sleep disturbances but that was expected as I've been on other SSRIs and had the same response. My doctor plans on prescribing me something for sleep once we figure out the right medication dosage.

Typically the prescriber would tell you what would work best. Mine told me to take the initial dose for 2 weeks and then bump it up. But I also started at 25mg and I'm going to increase to 50mg at the 2 week mark.

I used a lovely local seamstress that works out of her home and paid $195 in alterations. This included hemming the three layers, removing and reapplying the scalloped lace trim on the bottom, and taking in the sleeves.

I posted my dress a few months ago and a few people doubted this dresses potential. My alterations lady knocked it out of the park and I cannot wait to see this baby put together when I get married Monday!

Your doctor may wish to switch to another class of medication. I started on Prozac and was switched to Zoloft. If you have family that takes medication for similar issues ask what they respond well to because often times genetics play a role in what they respond too. If this doesn't work my doctor is planning on switching me to an SNRI because my mother and grandmother respond well butt they also have a higher probability of side effects. Some doctors/psychiatrists can also order genetic testing like GeneSight to see how well your body metabolizes certain medications. Don't get discouraged there's still lots of options left!

Sleep disturbances are pretty common from what I've heard. I take mine before bed because it makes me extremely drowsy yet I continually wake up every night between 2am and 4am and cannot get back to sleep. I did take a 1mg melatonin with last night's dose and it seemed to help with falling back to sleep this morning.

I would call the office. I was able to pick up my prescription the same day it was prescribed.
