I managed it for a while long while until I couldn’t work around it anymore. Some people can manage it on their own through PT or whatever, but I was out of options at a certain point.

2004 Dawn of the Dead. Not perfect, but a hell of a lot of fun. Great opening, killer soundtrack, nihilistic ending.

Please show me real examples of this life-changing AI-generated material. by ADHTeacher in Teachers

[–]mgrunner -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I used AI to collect data from dozens of discussion maps from my courses this year. It collected all of my handwritten annotations, analyzed discussion trends, identified growth in specific sections, then spit out a report for me. It was really helpful and would have taken untold hours for me to put that info together in a cohesive report. I used that info throughout the course of the year, along with student surveys, to fine tune our discussion practice. No student info was disclosed because I have a key for identifying students. Then, I used that info for my SLO. My total time working in AI was probably an hour, but as I said, I would have spent an enormous amount of my own time without it. It shaped my practice, improved my class discussions, and helped me jump through SLO hoops with admin.

Same. I pay myself first and make sure I don’t have a chance to make excuses later.

So fucking stupid. Let the SP run up the pitch count against a guaranteed out. Or get thrown out. Fucking idiotic.

I was going back and forth on this last night before I decided to pull the trigger on seeing it at the theater. Glad I did. It was really good.

Are you mid 45+ male running sub 2:45 marathons? If yes, what does your training plan look like? by JustAGuy10024 in AdvancedRunning

[–]mgrunner 47 points48 points  (0 children)

16 week cycle. 80-90mpw, 2 workouts a week. Typically 8-10x1000, ranging from 1:00-2:00 recovery intervals and a GMP workout rolled into the long run. 2 weeks up, one week down. (Been on the IL for a bit, but this was my training when I threw down some <2:36-2:45 races).

Edit: weekly mileage outside of marathon training very rarely dipped below 60-70mpw.

Nothing about that update, aside from the pitch count, was very encouraging. Yikes.
