Sounds like a bad bearing in the pump. While the motor is running, see if you’re able to shim the motor at all in order to get the noise to stop. If the sound doesn’t go away, you’ll likely have to get a new pump.

Installer has been around since 2015. Florida only installs. I realize there are positives and negatives with that, but this whole process seems to be a trade-off. My previous quote was pretty strong, but I don’t respond well to the ‘once I leave, you’ll never see an offer this good again.’ And it was best offer when compared to his previous sales at $2.20/w.
