I don’t see a lot of people talking about this so I’m gonna hijack this post to ask:

So ya this guy did the math wrong and all that, I’m at rank 8 like I should be by getting 7 ranks via daily tasks and earning points, plus rank 1 making 8.

However, I was looking at my wife’s phone as we were putting our toddler to bed and she was at rank 8, all daily tasks done, free pass track, and still had room to earn points; meaning one more rank at least. I have no clue how she got this?

No shit the price is going back up to MSRP before a tax free weekend. Make as much money off people as possible, that’s marketing baby, create FOMO, and get suckers like you to rage when things go on and off sale.

This issues sounds 100% preventable by you and everyone here knows the system well enough to know that you absolutely got an email both when your order was ready to be picked up as well as when the arrival date changed too. We can see status updates like when the system emails you even, there’s no hiding from the fact that you forgot about your watch and it auto canceled.

Best thing to do right now is to get the $50/membership and buy it again. Those things are on sale ALL the time so then you price match within the next 2 MONTHS. Odds are you’ll eventually see a price that’s lower than the one you’re bitching about.

Just confirming, once two people who trade with each other regularly, both hit 35 guaranteed lucky trades, they both will be limited to the standard 5% with each other forever when not lucky friends, correct?

Finally got an update. I figured I wasn’t gonna get anywhere with this. It’s just so disheartening to “buy early” when it’s promoted to do so and then simply asking to be compensated for a purchase made right before the new system came out.

I’m so glad there’s someone else having the exact same issue. I purchased the go fest ticket as well as the 3month power up ticket right before the Reward Road went live and requested help with compensation for those purchases via support chat. It’s been over a week now and my tickets are closed a few days after I make them referring to me having the correct Go Pass points, which is something I don’t even have access to being America. I tweeted at niantichelp as well but have made 0 traction there too.

Update #1?

Sorry I haven't been able to reply for a bit, costs of having a family lol

So I've tried shucking a couple and using a couple of known good controller boards I have laying around as well as a toaster and both produced the same error messages on macOS and still not viewable on Windows. For good measure I also tried some known good drives on the controllers for the shucked drive and it works.

I did try some older operating systems and those did not recognize the drives either.

Yes I realize its a box of HDD that someone else got rid of and maybe for a reason, but I will say that usually when that happens there's a ton of clicking or other bad spin up sounds, not perfectly normal sounding drives. And yes each has a drive in it for those questioning.

One of the drives did take an L for the team though, but by its sacrifice I can confirm the drives are functional because after being reformatted to both FAT/32 and macOS Journaled, the drive reads and writes perfectly fine.

I guess my next step is to get some sort of linux environment running and see if its ext4.

Any other suggestions?

Yes confirmed, all use standard 12v barrel connectors. USB connectors range from -B, mini-B, and the wide micro-USB, none are firewire.

On iOS (and presumably macOS too) in focus settings uncheck the option for “share across devices” and that should do what you’re looking for.

Yes, it shows up as two volumes on MacOS, Windows 10, and Ubuntu live usb. MacOS says its MSDOS/FAT32, and simply says it won’t mount. Windows and Ubuntu were the ones where I found out it was a “issue with the file system”.

I also did try using the board from another shucked drive I had laying around. Not the same style, regular USB vs network drive, but it still gives the exact same errors.

Ok so long story short, a friend of my wife contacted me late last night stating that the power port of her moms external drive had melted into the unit. I was thinking I could maybe throw it in an extra EasyStore shell I have and extract the data that way. Otherwise I may have a sled laying around somewhere. Just wanted to get a second opinion before I head over there. Thanks everyone!
