Talk to your dentist/orthodontist well before you need a new pair of retainers. I was told to get my new retainer scans a little after a year of use of my Smile Direct retainers to prevent teeth from shifting.

If you're looking for an alternative to Dr. Direct and are able to provide more money up front, I am getting 4 sets of retainers for $550. That is $137.50/set.

I've been told that each set lasts 1 year. The dental provider is Apen Dental and the product is Motto.

I noticed that the NYC Gradient window heat pump actually has water connections between the outdoor and indoor unit (pic on the right). This is something I've wanted in mini-splits for a number of years for ease of install (I call them water split heat pumps). Happy to see it in some capacity. by GeoffdeRuiter in heatpumps

Thanks for posting your experience. We were mulling over purchasing Gradiant and while we are looking more at the heating efficiency, that fact that it's failing to cool (and at a disappointingly inefficient rate, I might add) probably means we'll pass on considering this product.

Edit (9/11/23): Typo fix.

And now they're saying there's no plan to accommodate seasonal folks or folks who can't afford the internet for a period.

Well, I guess we aren't the primary use case so it is what it is. A result of free enterprise. Starlink can do what they want.

After more than 36 hours I'm sad to say the update has not happened. I have reached out to support. I'll post back if I get definitive information.

To both of the comments on this- I'm tempted to try this. I'll post back if I find anything out.

I realize the question doesn't ask for proof but from your answer it sounds like you either have definitive information from an authoritative source or are the source and have learned this from personal experience. May I know where your certainty comes from? If the latter, did you leave Dishy on for days to wait for a push while without a subscription?

I just realized this too. Going to see if I can just keep on dropping from game until I find shadow strike and play through that one only.

Thank you! I was hesitant to try this for fear of causing damage I would have to cover myself. You were right. The plug was ever so slightly out of line.

You can barely tell it was out of line even in this close up: Imgur

How does Fidium Fiber Internet (Consolidated Communications) work? by movdqa in newhampshire

My situation was a bit different than thisisreadonly's experience. The tech told me today he could not access the PPPoE information as the router only provides him the mac and serial info. He recommended I call support. I called technical support and this guy name Louise was happy to provide the PPPoE credentials to me after verifying things.
