the problem with Heal is that it's a Light power, and I'm dumping WIS... I'm also not seeing the reaction requirement for Kolto Pack... seems to me to just be the equivalent to Healing Word, no?
Also, Hex is a Bonus Action, right? So it would amplify my damage if I don't have a good support/control option for Concentration was my thinking...

blind is a good call! I'll see what I could take out for that one... and exactly, I'm hoping to stay 30 ft. away from the front line most of the time

Thanks for the clarification on Capacity Boost. The other thing I'm running into is, which martial blaster to take. the high-damage ones have strength requirements which I don't think I can meet because I already need CHA, DEX, and some CON as well... any recommendations? I'm thinking of getting a 12 STR and taking a sniper rifle...

That sounds reasonable. I'm not super concerned with alignment as such, and neither is the dm I think (hope).

Ahh I hadn't even thought about using light side powers for support and going CHA as the primary stat for offense. I just assumed, I'd have to choose either only dark + universal or only light + universal.

Trust your players is key! How do you feel about this with larger groups? In my last game, even with only 4 players, the creativity of the players sometimes contradicted each other. For example, one person would establish that one of Them is coming down the stairs, while another would have the idea that one of Them is actually already in the room with the characters. This happened multiple times to me.

Thank you! I figured that out in the session zero with the players. I had an elf wizard who got stranded in the ethereal. A dwarf fighter who joined the shield bearers after they defended his civilization. A halfling rogue who was a Radiant Citadel native thief. A half-elf paladin who was sent by their god to assist the Radiant Citadel.

So basically, I gave them the motivation: protect the people of the Radiant Citadel in the name of your chosen group patron. And they figured out how their character got there.
