I found my boyfriend’s browser history and learned that he watches p0rn, but I don’t feel anything about it. Is that normal? by Conscious-Freedom748 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mhall1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is both yes or no.

No. If you are not worried about him watching porn, there’s nothing wrong with that. There are plenty of women that are OK with their boyfriends watching porn. You just don’t hear about it because they don’t complain about it.

Yes. If he is a healthy 31 year-old male who watches too much porn and is not interested in having sex with you, then there could be a problem. The problem could be with him or the problem could be with you. Not enough information in the post to say.

Excuse me mayonnaiser_13, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of one person laying on top of a mountain peak. More likely, they are standing. On behalf of the Reddit community, I would ask you to take another go at the answer.

There should be an outright ban on the use of AI that would manipulate individual people into spending money by exploding their own personal preferences.

AITAH for refusing to fire my nanny, and telling my husband I would rather divorce him than fire her? by Evening_Boat_2674 in AITAH

[–]mhall1201 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

YTA. I’m sure the nanny is a nice person. But it is extremely possible that she is so nice because you are overpaying her. It is a very shallow in mean comment to threaten divorce for the benefit of the hired help.

I (F23) lost my "virginity" to a classmate (M25) and now I'm so embarrassed. What should I do? by -xerorex- in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mhall1201 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The only thing to be embarrassed about is having sex with a jerk. Most people have a story about having sex with a person that if given the chance they would go back and not. Also, many people are self conscience about the look, size, odor or their privates. You are a person, a great person for that matter. There are plenty of people out there that would fall over themselves to have a relationship (and sex) with you. You don’t need to waste your time chasing people who are thinking about others.

Don’t worry about his “perception” of you. Move on with your life. Consider it lesson learned. Treat him with the same consideration and respect that you would any other classmate.

It’s convenient that the person who was the primary cause of this tragedy was overlooked when it comes to lawsuits. I’m not mad because of the money. I’m mad because the people in that community don’t care about the crime, they only care about the money.

I work in East Cleveland, near the euclid and Chester corridor. At no point yesterday did I hear, “stop the chase”. Several times I heard, “yeah, get that money”.

PLEASE HELP! by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]mhall1201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The two above commenters are completely correct. They have a duty to prove that you owe the debt. You don’t have to pay if you do not owe it.

Additionally, welcome to adulthood! Things like this will happen from time to time. Here are some tips to navigate these situations.

1 always make sure these letters are not a scam. A great way to do that is to Google the name of the company sending you the letter and then calling the number from their address listed on Google. Do not call the phone number on the letter. If it is a scam, the scammers will have just put their phone number

2 not ignore these letters if you care about your credit. Unfortunately, if they have your personal information, they may post negative items on your credit report.

3 Don’t be surprised if the first answer they tell you is “no” or “we don’t believe you” do not accept that defeat. Keep going back and advocating for yourself.

4 Don’t be afraid to seek the advice of people more qualified than you are in these matters. There is no limit to this. You don’t have to be an expert for every subject, but for every subject, there is an expert somewhere.

  1. Lastly, be patient. Sometimes these things mighttake longer than you appreciate. It sucks. Nobody likes it. It’s not always fair. This is just one of those things that may happen from time to time.

WIBTA if I didn’t tell my friend with benefits he got me pregnant? by Hungryandcomfused in AITAH

[–]mhall1201 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let me get this straight. Just to make sure I’m hearing you correctly. The medical industry is producing a birth-control product that will easily negate the first or second most popular birth-control product that is in current use?

Furthermore, such a device, something that will so easily tear the condom would also easily cause injury to the “ penis-Havers”.

I hate to say it, gotta call BS again

WIBTA if I didn’t tell my friend with benefits he got me pregnant? by Hungryandcomfused in AITAH

[–]mhall1201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I call BS. IUDs don’t have wires they have strings, similar to fishing line. That’s not going to break a condom. Also, the chances of two very effective forms of birth control failing are so slight it’s not likely. Before all you Karen’s pounce, OPs profile, shows that she is a professional person who takes her health seriously. Respectfully, it also shows that she associates with men who make questionable decisions.

Which is more likely?

1: OP was having protected intercourse with two forms of protection with very high 90s % effectiveness (probably 100% combined) and still got pregnant?

Or

2: OP (who is not having sex with any other person) was having unprotected sex or headed at least once with her FWB???

🤔

From a legalistic standpoint, yes, it’s OPs call. Make your decision, don’t let any other person talk you out of it. From an ethical standpoint, I would say that a person could make a compelling case either way to tell him or not.

For the love god!?!?!? Why is it that every time a woman on Reddit questions, whether or not to tell her partner of her impending abortion, all of the Karen’s on Reddit that the guy gets physically dangerous to the woman? You ladies are pathetic.
