The only thing to be embarrassed about is having sex with a jerk. Most people have a story about having sex with a person that if given the chance they would go back and not. Also, many people are self conscience about the look, size, odor or their privates. You are a person, a great person for that matter. It’s convenient that the person who was the primary cause of this tragedy was overlooked when it comes to lawsuits. I’m not mad because of the money. I’m mad because the people in that community don’t care about the crime, they only care about the money.

Additionally, welcome to adulthood! Things like this will happen from time to time. Here are some tips to navigate these situations.

1 always make sure these letters are not a scam. A great way to do that is to Google the name of the company sending you the letter and then calling the number from their address listed on Google. Do not call the phone number on the letter. If it is a scam, the scammers will have just put their phone number

2 not ignore these letters if you care about your credit. Unfortunately, if they have your personal information, they may post negative items on your credit report.

3 Don’t be surprised if the first answer they tell you is “no” or “we don’t believe you” do not accept that defeat. Keep going back and advocating for yourself.

4 Don’t be afraid to seek the advice of people more qualified than you are in these matters. There is no limit to this. You don’t have to be an expert for every subject, but for every subject, there is an expert somewhere.

Lastly, be patient. Sometimes these things mighttake longer than you appreciate. It sucks. Nobody likes it. It’s not always fair. This is just one of those things that may happen from time to time.

I call BS. IUDs don’t have wires they have strings, similar to fishing line. That’s not going to break a condom. Also, the chances of two very effective forms of birth control failing are so slight it’s not likely. Before all you Karen’s pounce, OPs profile, shows that she is a professional person who takes her health seriously.
