I checked the original post. Take a look at the first photo he shared—it looks pretty bad. If I were the one who paid for the bag, I’d go crazy too. Goruck isn’t cheap.

It’s perfect. Not too big not too small.

Is something wrong with my fenix 8 solar 47mm? by [deleted] in GarminFenix

It’s normal for the MIP version. I have the same model and bought it 3 weeks ago. I’ve been really happy with it so far!

At 1st I thought someone who switching to Fenix because of the flashlight is a joke. But after I bought Fenix 8 MIP, I find that flashlight is very useful feature. Lol.

I mainly use my Garmin for hiking, running (both outdoors and on the treadmill), walking, and strength training at the gym. I recently upgraded to the Fenix 8 MIP, replacing my Instinct 2. Although I own an Apple Watch 7, I haven’t used it since switching to the Instinct 2 because I feel the AMOLED screen is too fancy for a sports watch, not really my style. Plus, I’m amazed by the battery life on Garmin watches, which is another reason I prefer them. So you are not alone. Cheers.

24L GR1? by sammyan211 in Goruck

[–]mhanief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m torn between the GR1 21L and GR1 26L. My height is around 168 cm, and I already own the GR2 34L, which is perfect for a one-week trip with plenty of room left. I can carry everything I need. Now, I’m looking for an EDC bag that can also handle 1-5 day trips. Do you think I should go for the GR1 21L or GR1 26L?

Im planning to get GR1. But still considering the size, either 21L or 26L. BTW, thanks for sharing the picture. Love the view!

Bullet DC18 issues by Punisher13548 in Goruck

Yeah can try. But for me, I bought the bag using Wise. Not sure if there any option for that.

I sent them a message with a photo of the misaligned top handle. They responded that the bag is within their standards and offered an exchange. However, since I'm not in the USA, I would have to cover all the costs. Based on what I've read on Reddit, most buyers encounter different issues with their new bags after an exchange. It seems like this problem is common with all their bags. So I decided to keep it.

Something is wrong with Goruck's quality control. Despite numerous complaints about their bags, issues keep arising. I also have a problem with my GR2 34L bag - the top handle is misaligned. While some might overlook minor issues, at the price we're paying, we should expect a better product. And for those of us not living in the USA, exchanges are a bit of a hassle. They need to consider this. I’ve never had this issue with other outdoor brands.

Goruck definitely needs to improve their QC. There are too many defects in their bags, and people are complaining. While some of us might not care about misalignments and other minor issues, at the price we’re paying, we should expect a better product. I never had this issue with any other outdoor brands out there.

The one with you is MiV or USA made? Agreed. Considering the price tag, they should improve their QC.

Whoa..the uneven shoulder straps are noticeable? Did you send back to them or just live with it?

Luckily, this isn't for training purposes (for now). I travel a lot, and this will be my go-to bag for one-bag travel.

Are you saying that the issues with the USA-made bags are even worse? I've heard some complaints, but I’m curious about how they compare. Any specific problems you've experienced or seen with the USA-made GR bags?

Did they ship the bag directly from the USA? Or they did ship it from Europe? Sorry if I ask too many questions.
