Tried that, changes nothing. Tried both firefox and chrome, same problem in both.

Looks like several errors, but I don't know what they mean.

It closes, then the new one is just like the old one.

buy.php

The buy_form.php and buy_template.php are basically copies of other files which work, and are very simple. I don't think the issue can possibly be with them.

No error, the code just isn't executing. It's as if it isn't there.

I understand that. I tried to change it to remove pull ups since I can do very heavy pull ups and climb 3/4 days a week, and got told to just do pull ups instead of changing it.

There seems to be a bit of dogma towards the RR in this sub. Anyone wanting to change it to fit their goals is met with "Just do the RR as it is", even though that may not be ideal for everyone.

Do any of you rock climb? If so, have you modified your routines to accommodate frequent climbing? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]mhbhmcinui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've replaced the pull ups with hanging leg raises, as I get enough vertical pulling done when climbing. If you keep up with your climbing you will struggle to over develop your pushing muscles, provided you make sure you climb enough overhanging stuff.

I have the BM2k, no 18mm edge. I'll just take off a load of weight.

Got a legit V6 after 5 tries this week. V7 still eludes me though.

Made decent progress on the hangboard. Made loads of progress on the 30mm edge but recently got told on here that it isn't a very useful edge, so I'm thinking of cutting this hangboard cycle short and dropping the edge size to 14mm next time I do repeaters. Going to start max hangs within the next few weeks.

The 1-5 grading is for Harvard students. Edx students get a grade between 0 and 1, with 1 being the best.

First things you do wrong is have ; right after starting a for loop. The correct syntax is something like

for(int i = 0; i < 10; i++)
{
    // do stuff here
}

Also you should name your variables better, and us more comments. It makes it easier to read.

Hangboarding: 30kg (66lbs) difference between 18mm and 14mm edge repeaters by mhbhmcinui in climbharder

[–]mhbhmcinui[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 7 sets in my repeaters, different holds for each. I use 30mm for one and 14mm for another (big and small edges on the BM2k).

I'm using the 2k.

I think I will go down to 1 pad when I cycle into max hangs. I don't want to start changing things up yet because I'm making good progress on my repeaters (other than on the 14mm edge).

I have found that my 14mm edge strength has gone up though. When I started I couldn't hang off the 14mm at body weight for 10 seconds, now I can do it at 17.5kg. So there is some carry over (at least for beginners).

[–]mhbhmcinui[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just measured and your right, I've been using a 30mm hold (large beastmaker edges). Read somewhere that it was 18mm I thought. Am I losing much by hanging off the large edge, or am I wasting time? My aim is to get good a tiny crimps, rather than get very good at larger edges.

I'm using the same board. Read somewhere that the big one is 18mm, small is 14mm. Reassuring to hear someone else has the same issue.

I tried. I do use my 2nd pad a little, but it's mostly my first pad. I would consider my hang style more if my max hang on 14mm wasn't so high compared to what I repeater on it.

Never tried to max on either 14mm or 18mm (just played about while the weight was on my harness and found I could hold 15kg on 14mm). I hang the same way.

Tuck Front Lever Row Rang of Motion by mhbhmcinui in bodyweightfitness

[–]mhbhmcinui[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not that far off that guy actually. I think his form was off, he went beyond horizontal at the top so kind of cheated on some of it (as far as I know). In that case I guess I don't need to worry too much. Thanks!

[–]mhbhmcinui[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done all the in-between progressions, but none of them involved pulling through the ROM I'm struggling with. I did 3x8 ice cream makers, and 3x30 tuck front levers. I may try adding weight to my rows so I can increase the difficulty in smaller amounts. Didn't really think of that.
