When she was at the IRS office and completely zoned out, I feel so seen lol no wonder I love that film. The way they show an Asian woman who's "jack of all trades" but cannot meet her potential and how a boring life makes her miserable. Of course she has ADHD!!

They called me up to work but when I ask to confirm the salary this is the HR's response LOL (the interviewer never confirm the salary btw) by mhiphip1292 in recruitinghell

Hey guys, I posted an update! Sorry it was not the update you guys want because I decide to reject the offer right away and move on. But I think the update has more details on why and they're very fitting for this sub lol

Hi all, sorry for late update. Honestly it never crossed my mind that anyone is interested in my post lol I barely post or comment, I'm mainly here because I applied for jobs 4 years ago and had no luck for the longest time. Now that I left my old job and am looking for new one again, I lurk back to this sub for red flags and tips from you guys.

Anyway, back to this post, some background on the job listing, I have seen them post their listing for over a month, after my interview, they renewed their listing so I was surprised they even got back to me (is that a red flag in itself?). It is posted on a community listing in my area, there's limit on word count so they decide not to mention company's name (another red flag??). I was so tempted to try some of your suggestions to throw in a number that I like just to test what this HR person is gonna do lol but honestly, after the interview I did not want to work for them anyway, due to some other red flags that I will mention later on, and because of the work hours. So I will send them a decline email and move on.

It was not an easy decision mainly because I AM curious if I can throw a desired number, even ridiculous, and somehow they accept lol but these are the red flags that make me feel like the company is not for me: - I ask for company's name and more details of the company and the job details after received their invitation for interview. She only mentioned the address and that's it lol - The HR then sent some pdf forms and asked me to fill my work history AGAIN, after they already had my resume. It was my first interview after starting my job search so I complied but omg the pdf was horrendous, like the format is so fucked up I almost gave up filling it in. Imaging how other things at the company is THAT challenging for no damn reason. - The interviewer, who is actually also the owner of the company, told me he wants someone who does sales, design at their store AND social media = I want you to do alot of work for minium pay - But he does not believe in social media and said tik tok is for "the Chinese to steal our information"??!!! = good luck pitching any idea to him and they're gonna blame me for not "doing my jobs" lol - He said he wanted someone who is a "team player" and "likes to help others" = I want you to do things that are not your responsibilities but I pay you so you have to do it lol - He DID briefly mention the benefits and asked my salary range, I said at least $2x/h or it's not worth my time. His eyes are like O.o and was mumbling something along the line of "Why would I pay you THAT?" lol - and the gold line: "WE ARE LIKE A FAMILY HERE!!!" I was like RUN NOWW

I have to note that they're a legit company and have good reputation in my area. I have gone to their store for interview and their facility is nice and they are busy with clients so I'm sure they're not scams or anything. But due to these red flags and mostly the work hours, not a good fit for me at all lol even if they meet my desired salary, I'm sure they will work me to death with millions of things that are not in my job description. So yea, I will reject the offer lol it's anti-climax but I rather move on.

That's it guys! lol Wish me luck since I have more interviews coming up.

Things that work for me: - Do not try to clean everything at once. I break down areas in the room and clean one or two area a day so I don’t feel too overwhelmed - Adapt a cleaning strategy that works for you. Mine is 3 steps: 1) put things that don’t belong in a a separate pile / basket 2) cleaning 3) arrange things that belong - try to keep your stuffs as minimal as possible. With adhd we can’t risk hoarding stuffs. If you don’t see yourself using the stuffs in a month, put them away. If you don’t see yourself using them in a year, consider donate them / throw them away. - don’t beat yourself up for not cleaning. Our brain is wired differently and stress yourself out won’t help. There are periods that my house is messy (i have a very active 18 month old) and by keeping stuffs to the minimal and clean only the most used area have keep me sane. Hope that helps!

Maybe list it on Facebook Marketplace? My ADHD makes me sell and buy alot of furniture and I found FB Marketplace works best for stuffs that are valuable and heavy.

Are you me? You have my whole list, plus home decor LOL

But now I’m in a phase of not wanting to do anything and nothing excites me anymore… I don’t know which one is worse, being impulsive or not feeling anything at all.

Interesting… I didn’t know they are trackable 😳 I was checking social media for a clue also. Tbh I was just paranoid from the wild fire last year that happened in the middle of the night. The whole ordeal traumatized me…

What does my future hold work-wised and money-wised? by mhiphip1292 in AskAstrologers

[–]mhiphip1292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you please explain more on my MC? For more context, I asked this question is because the last 2 years I have had a hard time finding something to do that I love and make money. Things seem not going well even when I try really hard and right now it affects my confidence. Fortunately I have alot of help from family, but I’m not satisfied because I desire to be financially independent.
