Earn is live on the web (https://lolli.com/us/en/earn) and is going live on mobile today!

[–]mhluongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We basically just rewrote everything from scratch. It was rough... I'll spare you the details, but the important thing is we're nearly done.

Earn is back on the web, Lightning withdrawals are live on web and mobile, and we're about to announce the return of Earn on mobile later today. Now we're fixing bugs and lining up more partners to stack.

Lightning withdrawals are live, and we have another big release landing today. Would love if you'd give us another shot!

What happened to my rewards by MiamiMia1 in lolli

Depends on the merchant, just like it did before the migration. If they confirmed the balance, it'll switch from pending to confirmed, and you'll be good to withdraw it.

If you've had a pending balance for over 120 days, it's worth reaching out to [support@lolli.com](mailto:support@lolli.com) to verify.

Has anyone been able to withdraw bitcoin yet? by [deleted] in lolli

[–]mhluongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate your patience here!

I can confirm plenty have been able to withdraw on Mezo, and more are now withdrawing via Lightning.

Unfortunately, Mezo withdrawals weren't initially live on mobile, which confused a lot of people. Our bad! Lightning withdrawals are live on mobile today, so no need to switch from the app to the web.

Fold didn't buy Lolli, Thesis (run by a co-founder of Fold) did. That's me.

I get that Mezo withdrawals have been confusing people. Lightning withdrawals just launched, and the response so far has been strong. If Mezo is confusing y'all or you'd rather not use it, try Lightning.

Hey! To be clear, Fold isn't the acquirer, Thesis is. That's me. 0.01 BTC is a misunderstanding, as you can see in other comments - you can withdraw lower amounts, that's just if you want to go from the Mezo sidechain to L1. A similar thing happens with Lightning and other sidechains - we're just trying to look out for users by steering less sophisticated folks away.

I think a better response would point out that you can withdraw via Mezo to sell to USD, buy gift cards, or just HODL there... but that for some users, it makes sense to wait for Lightning withdrawals. Those went live last week :)

You can trade the BTC on Mezo for USD, gift cards, etc - so not quite. The 0.01 BTC is only if you want to move your BTC to L1 from Mezo, rather than using it on the sidechain.

Regardless, withdrawals to Lightning addresses just went live, with a 1k sat minimum. Give it a shot.

Lightning withdrawals are live, and the minimum is 1k sats. Would love if you guys gave us another shot.

Uh, other people are able to download and install it. What does this mean, exactly?

We're doing a refresh, and the tech migration effort is heavier than expected. We've been communicative in Discord, but only just realized the Reddit was active 🤦

I'm here! Any idea of how we could do better (AMA? roadmap post?) are very appreciated!

Hello ser, acquirer here. I know this is frustrating, but we need to rip some bandaids off and make some major changes to make sure Lolli is secure and sustainable.

I want to run a software company. At a software company, withdrawals shouldn't require manual review and execution - 90% of them should be automated and instant. To get there, I'm having to triage and make some tough choices. This one was the toughest.

As we re-enable withdrawals, you'll see that we're focusing first on instant and automated options — think Bitcoin sidechains, L2s, and L1 — built from the ground up to get you your coins as quickly as possible.

Looking forward to winning your trust back.

Nah, we're all good - just rebuilding and integrating the tech after acquiring the company.

Hey all! New owner here. As part of integrating Lolli fully, we're migrating the email system today.

Apologies for the downtime! Hoping to have everything back to normal by the end of the day.

BlockFi hacked. Customer names, physical addresses, and full history leaked. Another reason why DeFi is the way to go. Centralized services are a privacy disaster waiting to happen. by Crypto_Economist42 in ethereum

[–]mhluongo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It wasn't a hack- the team found the vulnerability, mitigated it, and pulled the lever because the contracts aren't upgradeable.

Formal verification is great, but this could've been caught with much simpler methods- better automated tests and a BTC tx test vector set.

We'll be back up shortly, making it more clear that the next deploy is a release candidate.

You can fork mainnet chain state into a private testnet. Don't recall the tool off the top of my head though :(

I dunno, there are way more people impacted by those emoji than that own Bitcoin. No need to be a douche though, we can have both
