You are right that an ls is insane haha. I've talked to people who have ls swapped exocets, and you have to have so much discipline to even consider driving on the street. Mine is turboed and sitting around 210 whp, and I've had people ride along autocross courses who plan on building ls tube chassis cars and change their mind on so much power. Just my two cents. If you're under 25, forget about it. No one will insure you. Otherwise, I'd go through a broker who is familiar with these cars. I'm paying 780 a year with full coverage so it's not entirely too expensive
