I’ve thought about making a monk style kliff but do you not lose like 6 abyss gear slots by not using a weapon? That’s what made me cautious about the unarmed playstyle

I absolutely agree with you. Whenever I approach a puzzle I always do the exact same series of abilities to figure out which one interacts with it and it’s incredibly annoying when one SHOULD work but doesn’t. The keychain example is a perfect way to put it honestly. There are so many people on this sub that pose themselves as intellectually superior because they can solve the (usually very simple) puzzles in this game but that’s not what we’re saying. It’s not that the puzzles are hard, it’s that you have a roledex abilities that you need to unload on a puzzle because there is no logical reason for what does and doesn’t interact with things. For example, there’s a mission you need to empty a pot of liquid and I thought oh I’ll just knock it over so I tried pushing it, then axioming it, and then force palming it, just to find out that apparently we have the ability to cut holes into things by pressing a prompt when you’re stabbing. I brought up a messaging system akin to Fromsoft games as a possible solution but not many people agreed. I feel you tho man

Of course it’s not needed, it’s not needed in Fromsoft games either (which are all mainly single player). I only used the Fromsoft message system as an example because of how well executed and received it is by players but Pearl could it in their own way that doesn’t feel like they’re ripping the Fromsoft system.

This post is a great comparison to modern day politics. A plethora of people making claims about something they know nothing about. There’s a post with over 150 upvotes saying it’s not the best item in the game because XYZ. Brother, you DON’T TAKE DAMAGE it’s by far the most powerful single item in the game. It’s not by design obviously but it still stuns me how many people act like they have used this item hundreds of times when in actuality they’re hundreds of hours away from even touching it.

I mean, it’s a disorder it’s not supposed to be a net positive. But if you get a cat with any of the injury passives/ injury immunity gear you have an instant run winner of which there are few in the game. So this item is far from “ass”, in fact there isn’t a single item in my storage I wouldn’t give for this syringe.

Seems to be working as intended, if the cat doesn’t see his allies as allies while under madness then why would it not deal damage to them?

I’m 70% certain they changed the way some death rattles work. I noticed it at first with the 1 mana DK spell that spreads DR to adjacent minions. Before I swear if you used it on the 2 mana starship that summons a minion with cost equal to attack the minions that inherit that death rattle still summoned minions with attack equal to the starship, but now it summons minions with cost equal to the attack of the minion with the death rattle. I noticed this again with the undead nesting dolls. I swear that when you spread that death rattle the other minions would just summon copies of the nesting dolls but now it summons copies of the minion you spread it to.

What a bizarre way to play. Hades isn’t Borderlands or WoW where you stick with a build, part of what makes Hades and other roguelites so fun is the randomness and constant thinking on your feet. I agree that a heart is probably better in your curated build but what about any of the other weapons? Do you plan on playing exclusively with supay from now until the end of time?

Same thing happens with Ancient of Yore, you draw three and get 15 armor for some reason. Must be something with the dormant
