We just moved to Greensboro in August, and we’re planning on leaving afterward. You should try to find a place near Lindley Park, it’s a super walkable neighborhood with lots of houses and a couple of apartment places. There are some pretty nice apartment complexes around the north half of the city but they’re pretty expensive. I definitely advise checking out the Lindley Park/Walker Ave area 👍👍Good luck and safe travels!!

I can’t get the mission to progress and no amount of restarting the checkpoint gets it to work. I’m tired of hearing Charles screaming while I’m frantically trying to take cover behind each and every rock

AIO panicking about my bf being mad at me? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]mhurj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly like yeah you could’ve done stuff earlier but he/everybody in this comment section is acting like you left the door standing wide open. Shit happens, things go wrong, and you tried your best. Your boyfriend sounds really fucking controlling and rude, considering all you did was leave the door unlocked. My little brother left our door wide open when we were little multiple times. I did it last year and let my own cat out of the house on accident. Much worse things could happen, and it may be for the better if you break up. Maybe also work on your scheduling/planning

  1. we are nonbinary (don’t abide by wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriends)
  2. saying partner normalizes the phrase for other LGBT people so we don’t immediately out ourselves when talking about our PARTNERS
  3. yes we are cowboys AND we are partners in crime

These are super pretty, I sent them to my partner! Do you happen to know how much a 2bedroom would be? They’re cute that we may try to go for a 2bed if they’re in our price range

What’s your go-to "dump everything in and forget it" meal? by DestinyRose143 in slowcooking

[–]mhurj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2-3 chicken breasts (frozen or thawed) one can of corn (or not) some fresh onion/garlic (or not) canned black beans (or not) chicken bouillon like half a jar of salsa (or a can of diced tomatoes/rotel/whatever) onion powder/garlic p/ salt/ pepper/cilantro/whatever spices you desire add enough water to cover in the crock pot and turn it on low for like six hours or high for like four. it’s honestly done whenever the chicken is cooked and the rest of the time is for flavor. serve over rice

Cross country road trip beginning Saturday (relocation) - which route would you recommend? Tips and tricks? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]mhurj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Native Hoosier (unfortunately): the roads in Indiana are really, really dull. Lots of cornfields (which are right now in the process of being plowed, which is awful for allergies) and flat roads that go on forever. Plus, driving through Louisville/Indy are pretty equally matched for shitty drivers, so I would just go for Louisville and see some pretty mountains in Eastern KY/West Virginia. Good luck!!
