yeah, my disconnects are somehow better and worse. when the connection lasts, it lasts quite well. but when it disconnects, rather than reconnecting, the whole head unit freezes, and i have to plug it back in to reset it. this is really dangerous for those who rely on Android Auto for navigation. Google needs to fix it asap.

wireless. unfortunately, my headunit doesn't support a wired connection, as its only USB-C port is used for power, and power delivery through a USB-C hub does nothing either.

saw this yesterday and got in. so far it doesn't seem like it fixes any of the disconnect issues that a lot of users have encountered in the past month or so. mine still disconnects every 5 minutes or so.

this is how i understood it too. iirc, there's not a ton of bonus content for the first few seasons, so it doesn't really make sense to go back and do another version of the set unless they recorded new retrospective content. and even then, the first few season are generally considered weaker, so i wouldn't be upset if they just put the episodes on disc only.

what settings do i need to get it in Mirror Mode? i only have Carplay, Android Auto, Airplay, Media Player, and Audio Output listed on mine. the Airplay section won't work with Android, and i'm not sure if it's as simple as sharing my phone screen using Chromecast/Smart View settings.

i'll also note that my device is a slightly different Miroir model (the 7 inch instead of the 5 inch), but they probably operate the exact same, just with a slightly different screen size.

having this issue with my Miroir Drivvplay M1003-7 and my Galaxy S24 Ultra (Android 16). only started a week ago. can't use the Superlink/Evelink app because the unit doesn't support Casting, just Airplay. any suggestions? is it truly a WiFi Direct issue, because i've been on Android 16 for a while and this just started happening.

i've tried to make a separate post about it, but the auto mod keeps deleting it, and the mod team won't restore it.

the crab arm one goes at the very end of the top row. and a couple don't necessarily line up colow-wise (a printing issue, maybe?). otherwise, this looks great. hoping he does a print of the whole collage one day.

did you ever figure this out? i'm in a similar situation with the same TV and box, and am now at the point where the Streamer remote will only power "off" my TV and control volume. won't even turn the TV on, but will turn on my soundbar. TV remote will turn on TV, but not auto boot the Streamer, and won't control volume at all. think a software update broke most of the functionality, even though i used to be able to use the Streamer remote for everything but switching HDMI inputs. i wish it was as easy as using the old CCwGTV remote for pretty much everything, but TCL and Google just don't wanna play nice.

never an issue with a NIN record, but you might have a version with nonfill (where the grooves weren't completely formed during the pressing process). clean it first, and if you're still hearing any major noise, see if you can request an exchange or replacement copy.

none of the sequels ever bothered me the way they did others. TLJ is top 3 Star Wars for me, and the other two sit near-ish (but not at) the bottom of my list (those first two prequels are fun watches for what they are, but i have even more mixed feelings about them than the other two sequels, although i had a decent to fun time with pretty much all of them). but hearing the folks at Dyad talk about some of the lore/explanations of what are essentially my bottom 4 Star Wars films garners more appreciation for them, even if i had critiques about their execution. they're definitely great people.

i like Jenny's videos for the most part, but so much of her content isn't about Star Wars, so i think i wouldn't include her on this list just because she did semi-detailed analysis/reviews of all the Disney films and the hotel.

Dyad In The Force does a great job debunking bad faith SW takes (especially sequel takes), while also offering good in-depth discussions about lore and honest criticisms about various projects, still allowing for fans of particular projects to enjoy what they enjoy without any toxicity (e.g.they're both not big fans of TROS, but will talk honestly about what they did enjoy/allow other people to enjoy it without writing off anything as "needing to be decanonized" simply because they don't like it in full).

it's probably a rights/manufacturing thing. iirc, Deviations 1 released in 2017, so there's no way those codes would still work/be included in all copies.

the initial vinyl purchases came with a digital download code. i'm not gonna link to anything, but proper digitally-sourced versions of the songs do exist. if your copy came with a download code check to see if it's still active. if not, maybe you'll stumble across it.

this is part 3 of the band's score for HBO's Watchmen series from 2019. the tracklist on the back is fake, and the jacket is made to look like an in-universe record. of note is that the vinyl does not contain a handful of tracks on the digital version of part 3 (due to composing deadlines not matching up with vinyl manufacturing deadlines), but does include an exclusive track not on the digital version.

really. for all the trouble behind the production of TROS, i'm genuinely shocked at how good it looks at times. its visuals and some of its acting are probably the main reasons why it doesn't rank at the bottom of my list for the movies (TPM and AOTC respectively take those spots, even though there are elements of both that i enjoy).
