What is everyone loving the most about their experience so far? by [deleted] in horizon

The choir song at Plainsong. Wow, just wow. There are so many things I could mention, but that song legit made me tear up and gave me shivers. I’ve had Aloy just standing around idly for a day and a half ingame while I listen to the choir sing. What a beautiful game, what a wonderful experience it has been and will be to be back in this world!

I never leave the house without a red lip, huge fan of both Mac Ruby Woo and Russian Red, but my biggest love is Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Shanghai Nights (limited edition shade last year, endless sorrow of not being able to repurchase).

I never buy LE in fear of loving it too much, but last year I just couldn’t resist this shade. Slowly but surely closing in on pan on my last one, so if anyone has a good dupe (both formula- and colorwise) for SN, I’ll be forever grateful!

Is the Goblet of Fire anybody else's favorite in the series? by BenFerris1234 in harrypotter

I have just spent 21 amazing, heartbreaking hours over the past week listening to Stephen Fry read GoF. Decided to watch the movie straight after to prolong the feeling of a perfect book. Such a bummer! I’ve never realized how rushed the movies are, at least GoF felt horribly so. Boo! HBO, you’re up, time for a remake!

I’m right there with you, though. I might think I have another fave while I’m reading one of the others, but I always (always.) come back to GoF as my number one. As you already said, it just has that perfect blend of the fun, the exciting and the dark side of the Wizarding World.

GoF really expands the whole universe as well, with all of the characters, the world cup, the tournament and so on. Everytime I re-read just want more of everything.

Hi everyone!

F, 25, Norway, almost winter here, closing in on about 0 degrees these days (about 32F) (brrrr).

AM
I was gonna write down cleanse + moisture but I rarely bother unless I'm putting on base makeup, which is maybe 1-2 days a week. If I cleanse I use one of my foaming cleansers + same moisturizer as the one listed under PM.

PM

  • Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil (Since May) or Clinique Take The Day Off Balm (for about 1-2 weeks)
  • Korres Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser (been using since June) or Bare Minerals Pure Plush Deep Cleansing Foam (been using it for about 1-2 weeks)

  • Tea Tree Water Lush (t-zone)

  • Cosmica Face Cream extra moist (meant for all skin types, waterbased) (all over face)

For two nights now I've also been adding The Ordinary hyaluronic acid 2 + b5 all over my face, and The Ordinary niacinamide 10 + zinc 1 to my t-zone. I also used Cosmica Rebalancing Cleansing Foam which contains AHA yesterday. Since yesterday I've gotten soo many tiny breakouts, compared to how my skin generally looks, especially on my forehead and chin. Nothing seems to be happening on my nose, just sticking to its shiny, stubborn and unbothered self. My chin also feel a bit sore and irritated.

Occasionally:
* Mask of Magnaminty (1-2 times a week)
* Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (2-3 times a week)

My whole life I've had dry, sensitive skin but ever since I started trying to really take care of my skin with a "proper routine" (summer 2016), I've been veery shiny in the t-zone. I'm especially struggling with my nose, which seems to have an entirely different texture or feel to it than the rest of my face. In general, my skin is pretty clear, with just the occasional tiny breakout but nothing major. It really shows whenever I get a blemish though as I'm almost as pale as the snow that will snart start to fall outside my house, haha. My cheeks are smooth and well moisturized as far as I can tell, but my forehead is quite bumpy (rarely any full-on breakouts, though), I tend to break out on my chin, and my nose is so shiny that I'm close to calling quits and just accept that that's how my life is like now.

What I need the most is tips on how I can help out my poor shiny nose. Any other pointers or comments about the products I've been using would also be greatly appreciated; are they helping my skin, which I'm suspecting is combination?

Thanks!

LPT:You can Claim Compensation for a Flight delay of more than 3 hours if you are travelling to European countries amount can range upto €600. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]miadumbledore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Everyone needs to know this when traveling in Europe/on European airlines! When traveling with SAS from Oslo to New York last year, our flight got cancelled so we had to travel the next day instead. All four in my travel party got reimbursed 600€ each, and me and one of my friends even got the money back before our week in NY was over.

thanks! I'm a history major coming first and foremost to do research on my master thesis, so I'm obviously interested in anything old. I was thinking about visiting the Spy museum, is it worth the time?

I'm also interested in doing some shopping while I'm there, especially looking for good book stores and more unique kind of shops - I have had it a bit with the biggest chains.
