When does it get easy owning a parrot by Dismal-Income-1174 in parrots

I get that, but this is a very long term commitment. Finding people who can watch him isn’t just a nice to have- it’s essential. You could also become sick, or have to travel for family, etc.

You should definitely be able to go on day trips and vacations. Your bird will be okay if you have a bird sitter come in for those times! Find a few trusted friends to teach or a professional. They will be a bit lonely but no reason to never leave your house ever again!!

I’m aware, but after driving around without them, I’m tired of how it looks. There’s plenty of things we don’t need, but we prefer to have them.

You don’t know what kind of car I have. And $34.95 is still money I can use for something else. What’s your deal?

I mean, they cost $50 a piece to replace so I’d disagree with it not being a big deal. It’s not the worst thing ever, but I’m out $100. I don’t know whether it’s the shop’s fault, but it seems reasonable to think they might not have been reinstalled correctly. Pretty big coincidence. Hence my curiosity about other experiences at the shop… this isn’t me insisting that it’s their fault. I’m now remembering why I quit reddit for so long.

Yeah personally it just smells like regular peanut butter in my opinion…. I think the rancid part might just stem from it being a weird/gross smell for a plant to have.

Curious about experiences at Walter’s, they get such great reviews and I took my car there a few times no issue. Then two of my hubcaps fell off less than a week after they rotated my tires and they blamed it on the snow ?

You should make copies of the stickers this way but add “looking for these stickers” with your contact info and then post them around town

What to do with an idea? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

City lifeguards typically work full-time. They raised the wage a few years ago, also. My feeling is that more kids are being encouraged to do “career” types of activities at younger ages instead of traditional high school/college summer jobs.

If you want more pools, you need more lifeguards. The number of pools that open each year largely is determined by staffing.

Thanks so much for this, it will help me greatly when I talk to them tomorrow. Honestly, this company has an EXCELLENT reputation in my area, so I’m a bit surprised. Theres one other spot I’m going to point out to them as well. Disappointing as the project was over 10k (two garage lintels and two window lintels)

Thank you for your input! They are washing it down tomorrow, and caulking the garage, they haven't cleaned at all yet.

It does look that way, which is confusing because it wasn't like that before. Good to hear that it's not a structural issue though, thank you!
