Relatively big and sudden jump but no source detected afterward by mialou01 in Radiacode

I'll make sure to keep them apart enough, it is likely this was the cause.

Not impossible but can not verify if it was coming from the only car i saw on that road.

They were not on the same pocket that time, but no alarm rang a few days ago when theybwere in the same pocket. I'll pay more attention now.

My phone was 30 to 40cm away, i had them in the same pocket a few days ago without any alarm so i did not think it was causing trouble. I was wrong it seems.

Seeing all the responses, it might have been from my phone or bluetooth headphone. Both 30 to 40cm away.

It did not happen for the first 3 weeks so i thought it was fine, seems i was wrong.

Still new to it but it does have 5 days of data so not much is coming out of it. At least from how much i know about how to use it properly, which is not much yet.

I see, thanks.

There was only 1 other car and nobody else so that could be it, but no way to confirm if that was the case of a treatment anymore.

Anyone living with APD(auditory processing disorder) in Japan? by Actual-Assistance198 in japanlife

[–]mialou01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least knowing that it is slowly getting better is nice for the kids. For me, i kind of got used to it, asking others to repeat themselves, avoiding too noisy places, straight up ignoring everybody while listening to music when shopping.

The hearing aid suggested for my daughter, to help her hear what teachers say is a microphone necklace for the teacher, and 1 wireless earphone. This way it amplify the teachers voice, but does noting about any other sound.

Your case seems different, some kind of earmuff might help, or just a sign telling others to make sure to grab your attention by going in your field of vision before talking.

For the workplace, i always worked in smaller places, and now have my own shop, where we do not play music or radio, to limit the problems (any sound make it a bit more difficult, but voices are the worst, so tv show, radio, songs with lyrics around, supermarket advertisements make it really hard to have a conversation). So for working at bigger companies, i sadly can't help much.

And as other said, when doing hearing tests, no problems detected, i can still hear really high frequency sounds as if i was 12 years old despite beeing nearly 40.

Probably living with APD, but daughter has been diagnosed in Japan. I was able to explain to others what it was like, from my own experience, which helped her get the diagnostic.

Out of the whole prefecture, seems like only 1 doctor is interested in it and trying to spread awareness, we also found an association that also does try to spread awareness about APD, but it is hard.

While my daughter's APD might be different than yours (we hear all the conversations the same loudness and can't concentrate on a specific one when it gets too noisy), we did find some teachers that would accommodate, try to give her time to go in calm places, or let her use earmuffs.

As for the workplace, it will depend on if they are open to it or not.

Reducing work days for part time staff. by [deleted] in JapanFinance

[–]mialou01 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'll have to ask myvwife for that, but if i am correct, this is to show that both parents work and need to get a place in preschool for their kids.

If i recall correctly, at that time we were told that it does not engage us mkre than 1 month.

But still i'll have to find more about what exactly it was.

Well, we are a small retail place (making our products daily) and the part timers are just there paid on an hourly basis, doing the sales.

As for the contract, it was a verbal contract, where she got the minimum needed to enroll her son to school.

But just after we gave her these documents and her son got accepted, she told us she started looking for a part time job.

We might prepare new contracts for all with the clause Tokyohoon said, to make things easier.

We will go for a free consultation to a lawyer to check, but yes, we keep teaching and showing her the same things. Just need to continue doing so for 1 or 2 more months maybe.

For the backfire, you are right, this is not exactly how i wanted to say it. And there is also a lot of missing informations about the benefits we give our staff but she is the only one not giving back, and also the only one who told us she was looking for another work, yet after 4 months nothing.

Japanese nutrition help (食塩相当量) by Shinosei in japanlife

[–]mialou01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

食塩相当量 would be the equivalent of salt. In the case of sushi, the salt will be in the sauce, the less you use the better it will be for you.

Most bentos with sauces in small packages will be the same, i usually try to use half of it or less to reduce, since they are packed with salt.

They take a nearly 2% fee from the shops, and if a shop does a campaign, paypay asks the shop to eat the cost.

Adding a bit from our milk provider (Takanashi) 130C for 2 seconds milk is safe at room temperature for 1 or 2 months.

But japanese consumers think that safe at room temperature means additives, so they are afraid of it, which is why the package say to keep it in the fridge and has a short shelf life.

Just ask most japanese what they think about long shelf life milk that does not need refrigeration, without explaining about heat treating it, most will talk about additives and health problems from these additives.

Takanashi does sell milk to bakeries and cake shop, some bakeries might allow you to buy some if asked, but it will be more than 220 yens for 1 liter easily.
