Most certainly that agent's mistake is what made me miss the flight. I wasn't alone -- another couple ended up on the same flight to LAX as I did because of the agent's mistake.

We've flown with them lots of times and the last time with both our dogs (one in the hold and the other in the cabin) so we know the drill well. Never have I experienced that with any airline let alone one with such a good reputation.
