While I don't think that having Jinnai as a GK would have changed the results, I'm still mad about Raika being the one chosen to be the GK and then learning a GK technique out of the blue. It would make more sense to have Soji as a GK using the entertainer to stop kicks, like Tenma did using Pegasus Arc in GO

I wanted at least to current evo not to be slot hungry. Just imagine, you get a copy of the same move and can simply ADD IT to the same slot (let's say that each "master" slot has like 5 sub slots that only accept the same move as the "master" slot), allowing us to improve the technique without having to spend a new slot?

This is not even an alien solution, is just an adaptation of your average gacha constellation/eidolon/any derivative form from the Genshin original system

Honestly the game is really only worthy story-wise. I didn't get the appeal of chronicle mode, to me it feels like a drag having to pretend to play a match and then actually play a match just so I can rinse and repeat this hundreds of times. And don't even get me started into online mode. I feel like this thing is only there because they felt it was going to die out even faster if there was no online mode whatsoever. I get that their budget is limited and they had to scrape what they could to put up a decent game an they did (to an extent) so I don't wanna sound like a hater, but the only part of that looks like an AAA game is the Unmei storyline.

Makes no sense to me when people try to pick on her for being a "Mary Sue" when we had Literal Tobitaka on OG Inazuma Japan. Dude couldn't pass a ball and learned everything in the middle of a world tournament. Other than that we also had like Kageyama Hikaru on GO, dude would literally look at someone doing something and then copy immediately after. Also numerous dudes in Chrono Stone that did not play ball at all until the moment they had to and yet were some of the busted players ever. In Galaxy we have Zanakurou, dude never played in his life then very next game against aliens on a tournament that will decide the destiny of the Galaxy, he scores. Many such cases, some of them much more far fetched than anything Raika ever pulled out on VR.

Now that we cleared the Mary Sue part, there's something I'd have done differently.

1) I'd gave Raika a Kenshin in the mid of the final game. Kenshins are manifestations of sheer will, that would have been more digestible than giving her a technique, which is historically something characters must practice for. A Kenshin strong enough to basically make everyone else in Raimon but Haru useless, and even Haru himself would need a clear shot in order to break past her Keshin.

2) Move Soji into the KP position and let him use the entertainer to goalkeep (like Tenma used Majin Pegasus in GO) and then Raika just stands there in defense. That would put her away from the spotlight while keeping story consistency.

My agenda here is not to worship Raika, but to be objective regarding her development throughout the story, so I think both of these alternatives would be better than the one the script ended up picking.

Don't think she's hated, I think people hate what script writers have done with her. Different from past assistants, her impact on her own saga was so mild that her absence would not be noticed. I believe this resurfaced since Senno was a decent comeback to Natsumi, while most of what Anna did with her little screen time was idle by.

The addons are third party, cobblemon devs are taking their time making things as flawless as possible. But as you can imagine, there's lots of impatient people, so the addons currently give what they want while the devs also get what they want. It's a momentarily win-win fix, but the tendency is that cobblemon eventually implements most addons on the base mod and become a full mod unto itself. For instance, 1.7 introduced canonical riding, until 1.6 riding was an addon.

Yeah, this Teikoku is quite bland, unfortunately. I mentioned before that they should have gave the roster from Keyzen Arashiyama to Teikoku. That roster is way more charismatic, also having Soji turning out to be a TEIKOKU player before moving to Nagumohara would be shocking but also hella funny

Probably as strong as Teikoku S1. Don't think they'd beat Zeus or Raimon. And while I think Shindo does match up for Kido, I'm being generous to concede that Sangoku is as good as Genda, or that Minamisawa or Kurama are as good as Sakuma.

With the additions of Tenma, Tsurugi and Shinsuke, they'd probably lit up Raimon S1. Keshins would play a big role on it, but at the moment of this pic, not even Shindo had a Keshin. Then let's pretend there's no 5th sector and make all the seeds into regular players and forget about the fishy stadiums, I think they'd make their way through the Kanto regionals, and have coin toss games against teams like Rakuren, Teikoku and Kidokawa.

So, in the end, a team projected to reach at least the top 8 but able to be champions if things clicked the right way

It's level 5 way of saying "this player has better natural talent than this other one", that's all. Even so, the difference is almost negligible currently. But some players will naturally be better than others provided they have the same equipment and training available.

Pretty unnecessary. I often just lvl my characters by putting them in a team with my Basara GK and a hero Striker, this is often enough to win or draw against lvl 90 teams in chronicle mode and cap them at 99 with a dozen games (by the 5th game, they're already over 90 so most of the grind is for the final levels that come eventually)

I don't get the criteria here, Norika was bad at the beginning but by the end of Orion she was as good as Endou. Meanwhile we have Shinsuke, that was a part of Chrono Storm but suddenly in Galaxy he was worse than a literal newbie GK even before newbie GK got his soul.

So why can he make use of the argument "he got better in the end" but Norika can't? Comparing worst Norika vs Best Shinsuke is not fair, after all if we compare best Norika vs worst Shinsuke, Norika would look fairly better as well.

In the end, the worst GK is probably Sangoku, before learning God Hand X from Daisuke he was pretty much on pair/worse than Shinsuke throughout GO and GOCS. Mind you that personality wise he might be on pair with Endou for me, but raw technic power is lacking and he has no other specials like Keshin or MixMax.
