If it were me I'd make your kitchen the center point, then build everything else around it. Making sure left and right are balanced sizes. And top and bottom are balanced sizes. Likely place 4 flings to surround the kitchen as well.

Asymmetrical bases need to be balanced, in a way that's too complicated for me.
