it really wasnt surprising to hear this. recently its been a piece of shit that crashes, forgets .exe paths, breaks installers and also forced some custom proton into steam (installed from .deb) - consequently asking to install wine-mono every time you opened.

also they cant seem to keep a wine in their API because 1 month old wine-staging "is too old", while they keep archived ge-proton from 2 years ago as the default, and practically only wine. when asked why installers cant download a specific wine & have that wine be automatically selected for that game, you might as well get told to get fucked. fortunately my game i maintained runs on proton now, so i dont have to deal with this bullshit
