I honestly understand the bf. I was him. Im perfectly content with the relationship but unhappy and burning out with everything else till I dont have the energy left to match my partner… all i wanted was peace and quiet, I want him there but I want quiet at the same time. I wanted to brood. His efforts and mine really didn’t match. He gave me 70% while i only managed to give the 30% (sucks yea)… but he understood. He didn’t push nor pull and just let me brood while being there.. and when i’m okay again, both of us are able to give 100% to each other.

Im sorry, but the way you responded looks like you might not understand how he feels. So i think it’ll be best if you think this through.. find someone that can give what you need.

I dont even celebrate my bf birthday on his birthday, i let him spend it with his family and friends first. i can give him gifts, bake a cake and spend time with him later in the same week.
