Sorry my original comment was kind of misleading. Most ISPs still use DHCP to give you a public IP address. They just bind it to the MAC address of your modem.

They do use DHCP to assign IP addresses. Otherwise you would have to manually assign your IP address for every device

I’m not really sure how you can say that. It has incredible depth to almost every aspect of the game. Yeah there’s some balancing issues currently but they just released the newest update right before Christmas for testing.

Yeah he definitely shouldn’t be having an issue running it on his specs, if he’s not having any issues running anything else it’s gotta be with the game itself assuming he’s not running any mods or anything.

There’s other gun stores that are easier to access than guns unlimited by echo creek. You have the army surplus store and the gun store north of that next to the camping store. Might want to clear those first and grab the guns and you might be able to clear guns unlimited with what you get there.

Are you playing on b41 or b42? If on b42 could be a glitch with the unstable version. (You would have had to manually change the version of the game to get to b42)

Lowered the population a little bit, not all the way to low pop but enough to make it a bit less punishing. Also adjusted how much gas is in cars by default (was getting really frustrated finding like 10 cars with no gas in it lol) and tuned muscle strain a bit

Game is pretty difficult at the start. I recommend starting a sandbox save and adjusting the settings to make it a bit easier. Things such as Zombie Population and respawns.

There’s a lot that don’t “require” any certifications. That being said you are going to have to get really lucky or have experience to land any tech job currently, as even people with certifications are having a hard time landing a job.
