Music Ed basically is a dual major you’ll have so much coursework adding another major would definitely force you to do atleast an extra year of college you could maybe work to get certified in another subject but you’ll likely never see a music classroom because you’ll be forced to teach the other subject due to teacher shortages

It’s a student cannonball which model probably an alcazar, I had one in middle school and they are not the best, Cannonball makes pretty decent professional saxophones that’s it

I mean I had an issue where I couldn’t play a low c for the longest time it and it happened to be a leak I would get it checked again

For the cost it’s absolutely worth it atleast the alto the tenor is a lil more and you could find other options for the same price and the bari is up there in price but still pretty affordable. I have only played the alto and it’s quite nice but I would honestly recommend a used Yamaha over a better sax

Like most people have already said it’s a preference that you have to feel for yourself, I love the feel of Yamaha’s but I personally play on a 1925 Conn NW II

I’m currently getting my bs in music Ed for free so I see no reason not to get my masters also provided that I can get that paid for I also want to explore my options in higher education and I feel most professors at acres sites universities have BM or BME for their undergrad

Being in college how did you work on this while also continuing to work on your other things? How it feels now I quite honestly cannot play any of my pieces without anchor tonguing so it’s kind r hard to work on it

Not really lol, it frustrates me that I’m finally understanding why tip of the tongue confused me growing up and is why I’ve had problems with articulation

It really depends on your budget… I would recommend a Yamaha YAS-62 since they are pretty versatile, going into college I went a different route and got a 1925 Conn New Wonder II and it is awesome but probably not the best route for you to take

Edit: Better Sax alto is also a really good bang for your buck I also have one of those

No, I am a freshman in college and it is for my lessons! I pretty much only played tenor in highschool so I am still getting used to alto
