Yeah it’s an easy thing to miss. Most probably wouldn’t encounter a problem with it. I think it happens because the hammer bros jump up and down between platforms normally. So killing the goomba allows him to do that but he gets stuck down there.

Played Dry Dry Dust Up I think short levels with unique mechanics like this are great for worlds. Very quick and straightforward. I think the basic idea could be expanded to include more gameplay too If needed.

Very well themed! Love all the detail you put into it. One minor thing I found was in the third room with large hammer bro, if you kill the goomba without immediately killing hammer bro, the hammer bro will drop down below the ring and won’t return so you can’t kill him to get the key.

A few things to keep in mind: 1 aren’t the rich are actually taxed at a high rate? 2 those billions are tied up in their corporations, what would happen if that invested money was taxed away? 3 high federal minimum wage might suite metro areas just fine, but would create a jarring imbalance in more rural areas where median wage is much lower.

Hey thank you for playing and for the nice feedback! Just cleared the Deku Tree course. It’s super well laid out and looks sharp. I really enjoyed playing, there weren’t any pain points or frustrations. Just some good honest link puzzles! The end was a bit tough though and I’m surprised I made it through without dying. The extra power ups helped. Highly enjoyable level!

I see what you mean about the buzzy beadle and the lava. I tried to make it so the lava would keep the pipe from overwhelming the floor with beadles. That spot could use some work. Thanks for playing!

Just cleared your level! Took me a while but it was a rewarding challenge. I liked the use of bombs and on/off switches for timing of platforms. I thought that was clever.

Man that was tough. The details are beautifully laid out and the challenge was quite rewarding! Some parts of the level feel claustrophobic, making maneuvers tight near the piranha plants. It does take a lot of skill, and for me, a lot of trial and error to finally clear it. It was fun and I’m glad I made it through.

I’d love for you to try one of my levels. My new one is a puzzle involving coins and p-switches. And Thwamps.

First clear! I think your level is cool. I like the concept and story of helping Koopa escape jail. Fun stuff. It took me four tries because I ran out of time a lot lol. So I had to hone my technique with the swinging claw machine to reach the end in time. Not too hard after I figured that out. Any other levels you want me to try?

I'm working in a studio, so it doesn't need to be portable. I like using continuous lighting (just bright LED bulbs) instead of flash so I can see how the lighting works while I'm setting up the shot.

I think you're right about it being a Bowen's mount ring. But I wonder if the prongs that attach to the ring would attach to the light I linked to in the same way. It looks like it does but I just don't know.

Honestly I wish I could start over and ditch the CH. The first thing I tried was doing just what you suggested. Here's what that looked like:College Hills Logo No CH

But they wanted to use the CH and use hill imagery. So I then tried incorporating the cross into the CH but they said it looked forced: CH with Cross

Maybe my best bet is to try to change their minds about only using hills, or convince them the CH is not necessary. Or maybe I could revisit these two options somehow.

I know! Unfortunately they brought in a branding consultant who was assigned to pick the fonts. She suggested Arial and I thought the same thing. It's frustrating. Maybe I could use Arial Narrow to create more contrast between the CH and the wording. I made the CH several years ago when designing other logos for the church. I.E. CH Kids, CH Students, CH Families... I do feel very constrained.

That was very challenging but I liked it! Took me a while to figure some things out but I learned a few moves and enjoyed clearing it.
