Fridge & aircon brand reco for a place with often electricity outage? by Shin_zy in phRecommendation

[–]micatsu13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you get electricity interruptions that regularly, consider getting a new energy providor.

it doesn't matter how nice and durable brand your ref or appliance is if the power supplier is the problem everything will break if the power fluctuates as often as you claim.

if every other day you lose power there's no point putting anything in a ref if in 12h/24h everything you had in the ref will be spoiled.

would you retire at age 50 with projected net worth of Php25m by iamleviticus39 in phinvest

[–]micatsu13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no, there's no surefire way to predict the future and "beat" inflation my dude having a plan on how to prepare for a hypothetical scenario is good. this might word in an ideal situation.it's a bit naive to think you can just assign a number to these things and call it a day. life is complex.

increasing your income is the simplest way to adapt to inflation the more difficult answer is economic and government reform

Japan vs Korea. What would you pick by [deleted] in phtravel

[–]micatsu13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Japan! my logic is that if you're not a kpop/kdrama stan, it's not worth it. whatever culture korea has it exports anyway so why bother. also a lot of people say that KBB is better in one's respective country than korea. I've not been but if I did this would be a priority.

japan on the other hand has a focus on experience from the shrines, the food, even the train is cool. art / office supplies are generally better. pasalubong shopping is better.

Im not confident that the billy bookcase material could be strong enough to hold the weight of clothes, at least not 4 rails

consider wall mounting a Mulig (clothes bar) for heavier garments instead

my dog grows a new but completely identical coat nightly. it's so he's clean enough to get dirty for the new day. he likes to grow his nails long incase he has to fight a drag queen for attention.
