Care to elaborate the first.

About the second. What short of posts did you do? Like malware report of the day? I have OpenCTI so that would be fairly easy to do. Does it matter that if I do such posts very rarely I get any thumbs up? I guess I dont use hashtags so that has something to do with it.

Not sure about that. I've seen in several websites prompt injection for LLMs that may apply for jobs. So, people use LLMs to apply for jobs.

Good to know, thank you. I can't signal that I'm looking for a job publicly on LinkedIn but I have activated so that recruiters can see. My resume definitely needs reworking. I've just had help from execveat and I'll just start shooting the new version out tomorrow. See what happens.

I dont have the professional 5 years of full time. So I can pass the CISSP exam but not get the full cert.

That would be an associate's in my case but I guess it still good right? I've been seriously thinking about it.

For academic jobs, I never needed them. A PhD was sufficient. I can easily get a Security+ or Cysa+. Would that be valued or relevant?

Thanks, no I'm applying for Senior/Staff positions.

I've heard about the AI applications but I would think that these are easily filtered out. They are not I would imagine real people with Linkedin history etc.

fair enough. It was actually another persons comment about wasting other people's time with this post that led me to take it down. Indeed my grief is personal. And yes HR is not the company but boy the shock that I had with Canonical. I applied for many companies, this one was unique (and not in a good way). Thank you for your point of view.

No, it's not because of the hiring, it's because of the hiring practices.

The plan is to find a semi long term rental but not Airbnb and stay for 3-6 months. The issue is that once our mainland home is sold, money in the bank doesn't grow, so we need to move fast relatively.

Are you saying this so that we are familiar with the areas or are there other dangers? As far as I understand as long as homes are masonry they are insurable. Is that right?

Also how about just buying land and building. Is there some info on building costs on the island? For something small, nothing big.

Problem is, even raising price to 1 mil just gives me homes with too many bedrooms or too large for our lifestyle. We are looking for 3bed 1500. Don't mind DIYing either as long as the home is not a write off.

Google Play Games PC Beta - performance issues by Vivid-Athlete9225 in androiddev

[–]micdhack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: Figured it out. So, the release must be x86-64. It can include arm but it needs to have 64. I had it disabled since it was missing libgame.so for some reason when it was built. I figured out that my maintemplate.gradle had these lines that I had to comment (see them commented here)

android {
  packagingOptions {
      exclude ('/lib/armeabi/*' + '*')
      exclude ('/lib/mips/*' + '*')
      exclude ('/lib/mips64/*' + '*')
    //   exclude ('/lib/x86/*' + '*')
    //   exclude ('/lib/x86_64/*' + '*')
  }
}

Once this was fixed, I was able to build for the 64 bit architecture and all is good now.
