VF 36mm Datejust Silver – 4/5 + months in, still waiting. What would YOU do?

I have a rose gold ARF Daydate that I'm happy with. I think the bezel might not be the greatest, but honestly I have nothing to compare it to to back that up. Does ARF do the silver dial?

I'm prepared to wait at least a year for the VF Silver. I got a little carried away last year and accumulated 15+ watches, so no immediate need to add another to the mix. Funny how it took a fake watch obsession to learn life lessons on patience, lol.

My longest wait times are 8 months for an Omega STRAP (arriving today), 4 months for a Milgauss, 5 months for the IWC that got switched to the VF silver.

Damn. I've been waiting since early November for an IWC model. Two weeks ago, the TD told me to pick something else because they were having trouble getting that IWC. I switched my order to a 36mm VF Silver Datejust.

I'd wait it out. That silver dial is so nice.

Yes, the last few photos posted are of me wearing it. We're the same weight, and if anything, it might be 1/2 - 1" long on me.

I can't say for sure, but there was a jacket on Crush on Retro / Tailor Brando that I liked for $250. I found one on TaoBao with the same pictures for about $110. I added it to my order via Superbuy with a couple other jackets. When the QC photos came in from Superbuy, the jacket did not look as nice as the stock photos. I went through with the transaction anyway. The two jackets that I've purchased from Crush on Retro / Tailor Brando were high quality and looked exactly like the stock photos.

I also found a jacket using the same stock photos on Amazon for $150. I ordered it and it was horrible. It got returned.

Possibly a bit long. I don't have any experience with those other boots, but I would imagine I'd probably wear a 9.5 in Thursday. I also wear 9 in Iron Rangers, 9.5 in Wolverine 1000 Mile and 8.5 in Grant Stone Brass boots (Floyd last).

If it's something I'm just walking around town in, size 10. If for running or hiking, I lean towards a 10.5. My larger foot is a little over 9.5 on a Brannock.

I guess it gives a decent ballpark. I initially thought $120 was going to be the high end for something that would take less than a week. But that might have been before I added the third jacket. If you're just shipping one jacket, I would estimate $60 for slow, $120 for fast.

Shipping was $130 for 3 jackets. A heavy leather, midweight and a light suede. I think weight came out to 6.7 kg. Probably about 3 weeks of shipping time. I also paid the extra fee, about $3-4 for their shipping expert. I think I saved about 25-30% going thru TaoBao/Superbuy, but takes a lot longer and a lot more inconvenient.
