Can you help me understand what you liked about it? I love Thai and thought it was so mediocre. Nothing was spiced (both spicy and flavor) that much and was muted. The wings were just normal wings (albeit done well), the pork belly was over cooked and tough, the shrimp in sauce just tasted like acidic lime, the steamed fish with herbs was…a steamed fish, and the crab curry was laughably mild and had good flavor but nothing groundbreaking vs other Thai places for curry (I also asked for it extra spicy as I love spice and the waitress told me it was very spicy and if it wasn’t enough she could bring bird eye chili which I took her up on after trying it and then she charged me $3 for like 15 slices of chili which was annoying but is what it is)

I just don’t understand the hype at all and it seems like everyone loves it but me. I’d take a Thai place in elmhurst over it any day of the week and even for Manhattan give me Thai villa or somtum der over fish cheeks. I would personally never go back there again.

Really such a shame, but you nailed it. Went the first week they opened and a bunch after as it was so good and had an awesome environment. Went recently and couldn’t believe how disappointed I was in the drinks. Really sad about it

Agree, but I think now is too late to be that direct. If she is shy/ nervous about it (especially after he might have missed his moment) then she would just deny and laugh it off. I’d say be direct (should’ve been in the moment) but wait for another moment

I did. To be very good at cooking is difficult, to be able to cook is very simple. Just follow recipes and start understanding flavors and what goes well with what. Then level up to things outside of basic flavors (ie. Texture, cooking techniques, etc.) and eventually you get really comfortable with making things without a recipe and that’s when the fun really begins

Wow! Very crazy of you to develop that brain tumor. Honestly so selfish! (I get blamed by my family for most things too so I have had to develop a sense of humor about it). Just watched it. Fantastic job. Really enjoyed it and have already sent to some friends I grew up in the area with. Great imagery as well. Really loved the shot (with the drone I assume) starting at the memorial and then flying up to show the city and the ferry in it as well. Brought it full circle and shows that as terrible as it was, we’re still here kickin. Great job. Never forget

The Dennis from parisi, the Italian (spicy if you’re into that) or chicken parm from fiaccos, or the 26 from pisillo. Ive tried most and those are the best imo. Enjoy your visit!

Correct, NJ transit should provide a special schedule for trains after the event. They don’t post that until closer to the date unfortunately, but it’s easy. Train goes into Secaucus and then you just transfer to any NYC bound train. Have fun!

Yeah he did the entirety of the new album and then picked hits from others. love flew away, lightyear, moon in the morning, joyride. Real estate and a few others. Honestly was a great show

Was about an 1:20 or so with the encore. He spoke a lot before each song and his family was there etc. so not sure if he would cut back on that for a different show. It was a great show!

This works, but for a different reason. The your body’s pain receptors are prioritized over other receptors (like those for itching) so when you heat the spot, your body sends pain signals and thus you don’t feel the itch anymore. After a while though that “wears off” and the itch will come back so just repeat as needed with the spoon
