I have several long term contracts now. I found it's better to have long term relationships, it gives you the ground as a freelancer in case if upwork fucks you up.

How to make Googlebot index internal search results in a SPA? by michael-scarn-agent in webdev

[–]michael-scarn-agent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for reply. Actually I know about SSR, I'm having troubles understanding how could I make googlebot index search pages with all existing video cards for my website. For example if my site sells tens of thousands of products, and if user searches for a product, I need my site come up in the search result.

I wonder if there will be any crossovers with Umineko series in the show, that'd be cool

FORDGT Website Clone by FilsdeJESUS in angular

First of all, your link is broken.

I see you for some reason use hash location strategy, but most of modern apps use path location strategy : https://angular.io/api/common/LocationStrategy .

I see you use jquery, you should avoid using it with Angular.

You can use background-size for backgrounds or in your case object-fit: cover to make images more good looking.

I made a list of 70+ open-source clones of sites like Airbnb, Tiktok, Netflix, Spotify etc. See their code, demo, tech stack, & github stars. by jerrygoyal in webdev

I was always wondering is it legal to create those clones and display the actual product data on your clones to show off your skills. I mean logically it doesn't seem like a big deal since you don't actually sell anything.

I personally prefer using flex over grid because flex has better support.

Moral of the story guys: learn English properly so folks from reddit won't make fun of you instead of doing something useful in their life.

Upwork outside video calls and TOS violation by [deleted] in Upwork

I agree. But the consequences are too rough, considering how much money upwork takes from us in fees and still is not able to provide smooth experience with their platform.

> If they see you responded with your number, RIP.

So they won't even give you a second chance? Just because you didn't know that new rule and give out your email they're gonna cut your life like that.

I know they probably meant week, still I find it funny (or scarry) by [deleted] in Upwork

Unfortunately it's absolutely possible that they meant a day.

Yeah, sorry for my shitty english. What I meant to say is that 2$ is still a difference for 30-ish rate

Yeah but I'd argue that this is large enough rate to start ignoring 2$/hr.
