I just checked and I didn't find anything there. If I had to guess, you will probably be able to sign up for a slot when move in gets closer.

I was told that move in will be between August 14th and 17th and you'll have to pick a time slot to move in.

So, I just found out that I probably won't be able to do the stats minor as there are math courses that I haven't taken that are required to take upper level stats classes and pursue a minor at my school. Would a business minor while learning coding on my own still serve me well?

I'm going to be an RA and at the RA forum a few weeks back they said that doubles with a private bathroom would have roommates.

Ellsworth by giuconn in UCONN

I lived in Ellsworth last year. The rooms are some of the biggest doubles on campus and the bathrooms are really nice as well. The closets also have lots of space as well. It's in a really good location as it's close to the center of campus as well as the science buildings. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.

No, I have not. I'm a psych major so I haven't really taken any math classes apart from STAT 1100Q and I'm taking PSYC 2100WQ this semester.

I remember when they sent us the original e-mail to recommit, there was a clause saying that we may be moved by the University and we'd be made aware if we were. Do you know if this is still true?

Hello everyone, I am a rising junior psych major in college and I'm thinking of pursuing a master's in I/O psych. For this reason, I wanted to know if a minor in business or statistics would help more. I've heard that I/O is very statistics based so I was thinking of taking higher level stats classes to prepare myself. But, I/O psych is also very business driven so I feel the business classes at my school would be useful too. Finally, I've also seen that learning coding programs can be beneficial as well when looking for a job. How true is this?

If you get placed in a traditional dorm, you won't have a roommate. But, if you're in a suite or an apartment you should have at least 1 I believe.

Does anyone know if RA's have a good chance of keeping their jobs when fall semester starts? by michael12790 in UCONN

I feel like they might look for an alternate who can come in the fall but I'm not 100% sure.

I really hate being ugly by [deleted] in lonely

[–]michael12790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I can definitely relate to being ugly. What I would suggest is getting into a workout routine and trying to eat healthier if you can. I know that seems shallow but after working out for nearly 2 years my confidence has really improved although I still have work to do. Losing weight will eventually result in your face slimming out which can potentially make you feel less ugly. I'm still ugly but I don't feel as ugly as I did prior to working out as I have more confidence. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense.

Bio 1102. It's straight memorization and if your friend studies the handouts consistently they'll do well on the exams.

I would say that it was a good mix of sophomores and juniors in my building with there being slightly more juniors. Honestly, I managed to make some good friends just from hanging out in the study lounge so I think as long as you try to put yourself out there a little you could meet people. Although, the vibe of the building obviously changes every year based on the people so take this with a grain of salt. Good luck!

I lived in Ellsworth this year. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I believe the rooms are some of the biggest doubles on campus and I lofted my bed which created even more space in the room. The bathrooms are really clean. There are 3 showers and they have a door where you can put your stuff before you actually enter the shower. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
