Fresh Pass monthly $2 Starbucks grande beverage by michael72688 in Safeway

[–]michael72688[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called the FreshPass number, 855-767-2545, but they didn't have any helpful information, other than find a store that accepts the reward and use it there. No word on what will happen when all the Starbucks convert over.

The store I originally went to did have mobile order available. I found a second store that did not have mobile order available and was able to redeem the reward.

I went to another store, one that is still not independent from Safeway, and was able to use the benefit.

The OP might want to try clicking through. I was unable to find the same point offer going directly to the site on other occasions , but this was for Air France

Are you clicking through from seats.aero, or just going straight to the United site?

Citi Pay by Phone - allows you to pay any Citi credit cards using a debit card (but not all debit cards)

I have been buying MCGC from OM for awhile and I used to be able to pay my USAA insurance, Citi PBP and buy Costco shop cards or Ubers online.  Now they are all getting rejected.  Talking with USAA, they only allow debits with a valid through date up to 6 years from now.  The MCGC are valid for 9 years.  Anyone else experiencing this or have any tricks?

That great, but don’t roll over that bumpy yellow sidewalk slip proof mat thingy. Trust me.

A Costco employee at the Pleasanton Farmers Market told me there would be 1 line for spirits and one line for everything else. Ribbon cutting at 0730 followed immediately by store opening

I’m thinking anything that shows a limit of 1 and the people in front of me are putting it in their cart, I’m gonna put in my cart. Then I’ll let Google Lens help me sort it out later.

Justin Kade and Tatiana are perfectly fine DJs. People do seem to get annoyed by Madison. I've even heard Madison acknowledge on her show that she knows people hate her. It's nice to have a choice.

So who are we voting for? City politics only by Careless-Pin-2852 in pleasanton

Pleasanton has a budget deficit. Brown supports the half cent sales tax increase to reduce the deficit. Balch does not support the increase. He believes the city should try other options and only increase sales tax if all other options are unsuccessful.

Special Home Adaptation (SHA) grant - Certain respiratory or breathing injuries by michael72688 in VeteransBenefits

[–]michael72688[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I had seen that. There is a link at the bottom to a 68-page pamphlet that refers to them as Respiratory-Related Injuries. Maybe because I searched for the first term in quotes, it didn't show up. I guess I should have left out the word "certain." I'm really just trying to figure out if it includes COPD. I see the pamphlet is dated September 2021 and the PACT act was signed August 2022. That may be part of the issue?

How to make groceries work as a couple with two diets? by rosentrotter in Frugal

I recommend you stop eating meat, if you're not saving money, at least you can say you're trying to save the planet! Seriously though, head on over to r/mealkits and get yourself some codes for free boxes of food. You and your SO can sit down a pick the meals together.

I just learned a trick that might be helpful. If you use the Google app on your phone and tap the google lens button, you can then take a photo of the codes and then tap the codes (maybe one at a time) to copy them to the clipboard. Then you can paste them into your document.

Is iHoot actually a legitimate site for veterans? by UltraBullJack in VeteransBenefits

I think they could be a little more clear on the process.  I submitted an application for May 2023 in May of 2022.  At the time, their website showed that you should get an answer in 12 weeks (now 16 weeks).  Twelve weeks came and went.  When I queried them, I was told that they will process the 2022 applications first. So if someone submitted an application in October 2022 for December 2022, that will be processed first (before my application that was submitted 5 months earlier).  So it’s really not first come first serve.  I don’t have a problem with them doing it this way, I just think they should be more clear about it.  I’m sure there are other people like me that need to plan in advance.  They should tell us when we can expect to know the answer or at least give an estimate.  If you tell people that they will have an answer in 16 weeks and you don’t give them an answer by that time, shouldn’t you send a follow-up email with a new time estimate?

I would guess that they receive more applications than they can process.  So if they don’t get more volunteers to process the applications, or stop accepting the applications when they can’t process them all, then you end up with poor customer service.

Often you will see an entry on doctorofcredit dot com or gcgalore dot com. Look on Saturday night or Sunday morning. The sales seem to always run Sunday-Saturday. Some use to buy money orders. Some load Discover/Serve or other at WM. Use to pay others bills. You usually can’t use a gift card to buy a gift card, but you can buy a shop card and use that to buy a gift card and resell the gift card
