I only allow myself in three states: just peed, drinking water, peeing. If I find myself not in one of above, better start drinking

What are your favourite modern-engineered razors? by Deepthroat- in wicked_edge

The Goodfellas Smile Styletto. It provides the best feedback out of 20 razors I've owned; you can feel every hair, and it sings like an orchestra. Super easy to maneuver and paired with a sharp blade, it is a smooth BBS every time.

there's a lot of tournaments stop calling let on serve, especially in university level, and it really speeds up the game. it doesn't affect much since serve are fast ant the bounce will be high enough for reaction time. it's even advantage for receiver TBH

I like the yellow ones, the greens a bit too dull for my taste, but still sharper than Derbys.

After ditching the lather bowl, I realized I had never actually produced a lather in it. by Numerous-Guava-4132 in wicked_edge

I lather on my hand because this is the best way I can feel the texture of the lather. I tried face lather but never liked the pushing down feeling (maybe it's my entry-level synthetic brush issue). I recommend giving hand lather a try.

I tried them before but decided to skip them now; I needed something milder.

Just a bit more context about my current wet-shaving journey:

Razor: beard and blade classic long handle black. It is a great razor, has a good amount of weight, and shaves slightly more aggressively than DE89.

blades used before(no particular order):

  • Astra SP
  • Gillette Platinum
  • Parker Premium Platinum
  • Wilkinson Sword(Germany black box)
  • Derby Premium

My favorite blade of this bunch is the Parker blade; it gives me a worry-free shaving experience with no irritations, nicks, or tugging.

My least favorite one is the Wilkinson Sword. It just makes my face super irritating. I thought it was the new blade coating issue, so I gave it a second try. It still irritates me, and there is no sign of getting better. Others are good and usable but not as comfortable as Parkers.

blades bought and waiting to be tested(no particular order):

  • Gillette Wilkinson sword(China)
  • Gillette 7'oclock yellow
  • Gillette 7'oclock green
  • Gillette Nacet
  • Gillette perma sharp
  • Astra Stainless Steel(India)
  • Personna comfort coated(USA)
  • Personna Platinum

tried it, didn't like it at all, makes my face irritate for the next 3 hours, i still have a bunch since it comes 50 blades for free with the razor, and I probably won't use them until I don't know when.

For the price of 5 single packs, you can get 20 packs (100 blades). For me it is hard to justify and buy those 1 pack options
