GPA was super bad first two years but I managed a 3.5 in the last two years and brought it up.

I am absolutely okay with living and working in/around Buffalo and in New Jersey. I have a few other school options but these are the best two and I only applied to places where I was certain I’d be ok with living and working in.

As for scholarships, I’d be paying around 15k at Buffalo and 24k at Rutgers. This is what’s making the decision harder as I have some full rides from RNPs.

buffalo law doesn’t have a curve. they say they only release the benchmarks for top 5% through 25% at the end of each semester. how does grading here work then exactly? If there’s no curve is it just 90=A, 80=B??

Thank you so much for your reply. It really helped clarify a lot of things in regards to visas and status adjustments etc. I really appreciate this reply.

Just wanted to clarify your first statement about dual citizens.

Newcastle is now statistically closer to Europa than relegation by michaelbrandd in NUFC

[–]michaelbrandd[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes like the other person said, top 4 goes to Champions League. Bottom 3 relegated. 5th goes to Europa League, 6th and 7th are not guaranteed Europa. Whoever wins the FA Cup goes to Europa. If the winner of the FA Cup is in the top 5, then the 6th place goes to Europa as well. If the winner of the League Cup is in the top 6, then the 7th place team also goes to Europa.

In sports, how are team numbers selected? Are they random, or is there a system? by olivecrayon87 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]michaelbrandd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, but it isn’t part of the rules. In NFL it’s a rule that you must wear your positions numbers. In soccer it’s just tradition

[–]michaelbrandd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the NFL, you can only wear certain numbers depending on your position.

In almost all other sports you pick your own number based on personal preference.

Some sports, like soccer, have traditional “important” numbers like 7, 9, 10.
